Such an awesome game. And perfectly on cue I have an urge for another playthrough. I hate when that happens.

Well they finally escaped the clutches of Superman64 and moved on to Castlevania 2. That's an improvement...I guess.

Who are you going to sue? Microsoft? They will say they were cooperating with a mandate from a Federal agency. You can't sue someone for complying with a lawful order.

Sue the NSA directly? You can't. It's considered a government agency, who you can't sue. Sue Congress? You can't. Sue Obama? You can't.

The ACLU launched a lawsuit last month. It had tried to challenge the constitutionality of the spying program in the past but was rejected because they couldn't prove harm, and they couldn't prove harm because the information was kept secret. Kinda like a perverse chicken and the egg scenario. Enter the Snowden leak and the reveal of Verizon's cooperation with the government. The ACLU is a Verizon customer. Oops!

Not that I have faith it'll succeed or change anything. As you said there's a whole lot of people in Washington who need to lose their jobs.

So if we point the Xbone camera at the Intel camera will it create some sort of spying feedback loop?

News Comments > Valve Considering U.K. Office?
16. Re: Valve Considering U.K. Office? Jul 11, 2013, 19:17 NegaDeath

This argument could turn out to be moot anyways. Both HL1 and 2 had multiplayer, if we follow the trend HL3 might have it too. And while the MP modes in those games were forgettable (though the gravity gun was fun for a bit) Valve has gained a lot more experience with developing MP/Coop stuff after HL2's release.

Assuming HL3 is released before the heat death of the universe of course.

Man there's tons of 7-11's up here in Canada. Maybe the frigid climate reduces electrical costs on running slurpee machines.

Count me in for another Rambo. That last battle scene where he gets on the truck mounted machine gun was as close as gore gets to being an art form.

Imprisoning that many people should be a crime in itself. Unless your looking for a source of cheap labor that is. But the US abandoned that system long ago and......no wait never mind they actually are doing that.

Sometimes I'm amazed the US government hasn't been burned to the ground. But then my government is only a couple decades behind you in implementing this stuff so who am I to talk?

They can make good looking games without next gen hardware, look at what they got out of this generation. The quality of the game is what matters, if you want visual stimulation without any depth then go play Battlefield or something. Nintendo's games are some of the best looking around in terms of visual appeal and aesthetics despite being technically inferior to other game engines. That's what people buy Nintendo systems for, Nintendo games. They don't buy them for Mass Effect 3, that's just a possible bonus.

Modern visuals and game quality are not mutually exclusive. The NES, SNES, N64 and Gamecube had both. Weak hardware constricts game development in more ways than visuals. There is nothing special about Nintendo that gives them a free pass to take the lazy route. Judging by the anemic WiiU sales the market seems to agree.
