Rationalize being lazy all you like but it doesn't change the fact you're completely wrong.

Yes, everyone is wrong except you because Montreal is definitely all of Canada. That's the ticket.

Rolleyes Rolleyes

Pick any city in Canada and you can find an unlimited ISP. Stop herping the derp.

I guess I better tell Regina we don't count as a city then. Though Saskatoon has been telling us that for years.

Well that was thoroughly enjoyable. And hard as balls. Here I am cruising along laying waste to all the enemies before me, on easy, and I run into a cruiser that tears me a new one and ends the game. For the love of god why didn't I run? I actually verbally shouted noooooooo when I died I was so into it.

Love the soundtrack. With all the shit going on I never even noticed the 90's era sprite graphics.

Seven years later and they FINALLY release something. Congratulations.

They run on valve time. One could say it's almost fitting.

More reason to never buy a premade PC.

Except there have also been cases of malware being put onto components on the line, not just complete PCs.

That is news to me. In the BIOS?

If yall are done with the other shit.. I am giving up on my Elementalist, I feel like I'm getting carpal tunnel from switching elements so often and the survivability really sucks. This class never really clicked for me, the abilities are so spread out that it feels like you have 28 skills instead of 9. PVP is a total clusterfuck, I just drop aoe everywhere and ride the lightning to avoid being gibbed by warriors and thieves.

Is engineer or ranger any good? I didnt like ranger in beta but maybe its changed.

I tried elementalist last night. Having the ability to shoot Palpatine-esque lightning was fun but when I saw they have 4 distinct skill bars for the elements (8 on weapon swap, yoiks) I stopped, that's too much for me to manage in my head right now.

My long/shortbow ranger is easy as pie though. Very soloable. I'm specced for damage, precision and pet damage and my eagle criticals easily. Combined with my tank bear I dish out good damage and rarely get hurt. All PvE still though, I imagine trap builds might be more useful for PvP but I haven't delved that far.

Kudos to Travellian and NewMaxx for the info links without drama. As a dirty heathen newb I didn't understand how the combos worked. I had heard my guy make some verbal cues about them succeeding (by happy accident) and I saw the combo properties on my ability infocards but didn't know how they fit together. I've done purely PvE thus far and it hadn't really been necessary yet.

Correct.Last time I recall having the issue was around January. Some people reported getting the TDR issue in Firefox but it's never happened to me on 2x8800GT SLI or a GTX480.

Regrettably I still get the TDR problem even with 306.02 drivers (560Ti), only fix is to set firefox to performance mode in nvidia control panel. Using driver sweeper between driver upgrades doesn't help. Only thing left to try is an OS reinstall and I don't feel like doing that right now.

The problem is that it was a huge, and I mean absolutely, insanely huge, annual loss. It was so big to the point that if they don't make money this fiscal year they may be forced to go the way of Sega and be software only.

Nah, they lost 40 billion yen in that fiscal year and they had over 800 billion yen in the bank account in march. Not counting assets either, just cash. It's easy to forget that prior to this loss they had multiple consecutive years of crazy, even insulting levels of profits that just got deposited. Even WiiU flopping might not be enough to knock them out.

How many skills / powers are you managing while you fight in GW2? The alphabet soup of powers I managed in swtor left me feeling exhausted after games.

You get 5 weapon based skills, 3 utility skills, one elite skill and one healing skill (and one pet skill and 3 control buttons if your a ranger). Weapon skills are determined by the equipment and class/race. Utility, healing and elite skill you choose by leveling up. You also have the ability to swap to an alternate weapon set on the fly which changes your weapon skills but it has a fairly short cooldown to prevent spamming powers. I'm an MMO newb and it wasn't overwhelming to me and I have to manage my rangers pet in addition to myself.

Makes one wonder how much longer Nintendo will be a hardware manufacturer...

RIP Sega, I keep your Dreamcast in a glass case

If I recall they just had their first annual loss in over 3 decades. If there's one thing they know how to do its how to be profitable. Sega was a different situation, and sadly as a software only company they're a shadow of their former selves.

If you find yourself playing an MMO, you should probably being getting a job or working at your current job better.

But first you have to find a girlfriend or move out of your mom's basement!

Am I right?! Yay! Stereotyping is fun!

Pfft shows what you know, I'm so big now I can't even fit through the basement door. Obviously I must be playing an MMO. Now excuse me while I wash myself with a rag on a stick.

As always it ultimately falls to the games. I'll wait until a price or two drop just like I did with the Wii, by then a good selection should be out. Key word is "should".

I really wished it upscaled Wii games though. Dolphin is a decent alternative but its a little too hard on my cpu.

Going by the insane success of the kickstarter they certainly have the budget to upgrade the graphics down the road. Even something on the level of SPAZ would be nice. For a game like this though the low detail visuals don't bother me much. Since it's so simple and clean its easy to spot things, like that crack in the hull leaching precious air or the space mantis eating the pilots face. When a single bad thing can potentially spell doom for your game its nice that its so intuitive. Imo of course.

What was funny was buying that last D&D action game on disc then finding that all it did was connect to Steam and start a dowload. The disc itself had no installation files on it!

Now that's plain lazy of them. I bought Civ5 at retail (it used steam too) and it had the install files on disc, must be developer specific. I have a monthly cap so that'd piss me off if it happened.

I love Steam but that took waaaaaay too damn long to put in. fortunately Steam mover filled the gap. Actually I'll probably still use Steam mover so I can shift currently played games to my SSD.
