What a bizarre story. Having to register online before you can use the advanced features of an expensive mouse. What moron signed off on that idea? Whats next, fingerprint scanners that lock the mouse out to the wrong person to discourage lending? I've tried Razr mice in the past (copperhead and lachesis) and the damn things just break within a year. Fooled me twice, shame on me.
Logitech or bust. |

Cutter wrote on Nov 7, 2012, 19:22: Why is that scary? How is that anymore scary than people paying a million bucks for a baseball? Or a hundred million for a painting? It's just some coloured oil on cloth at the end of the day. Value is relative and if someone gets their yayas from dropping 50k on a virtual item, bully for them. Just because it's not how you or I would spend it doesn't make it wrong. And besides if you have the kind of coin you can do something like that for a lark 50k is peanuts in that case. Sorry but we'll have to agree to disagree. Imo spending $50k on something that doesn't exist is insanity. |

I have no issue with this, if people find enjoyment mindlessly clicking away blocks so be it.
If someone pays $50,000 to get that super chisel though? Yeah that's scary. |

I'm a Canadian prince and I need help getting $7,123,456 out of the country. If you can provide help I will give you half. All that is required is you send me a small one-time fee to transfer ownership of the funds. |

Am considering a Sauron/Shelob ticket for 2016. Interesting. Would a Sauron/Shelob presidency guarantee my constitutional right to hunt Hobbits? |

No wait forget the cost I don't care about that. Is there a long line to get one? I love lines. The other companies don't have lines, they aren't artistic. |

Creston wrote on Nov 3, 2012, 20:28: Btw, I understand cooking, but all the other crafting disciplines are a complete mystery to me. Can someone explain (or link to) how to get a crafting discipline going? I typically can get something to rank 50 or so, and then I've got nothing left to build that gives xp, and everything I check in my discovery pane is all for higher level crafters.
Creston That's weird don't think I've had that issue. Are you sure you've discovered every combo in a material level before moving on (like going from copper goods to silver)? By the time I've discovered everything I've levelled up more than high enough for the next crafting group. I don't ever grind items for XP, its all purely discovery mode.
This is an updated version of the video I used to learn how to level crafting when the game launched. |

The tower jumping puzzle in the halloween event was evil, the good kind of evil.
I enjoyed the event quite a bit, I think I jumped 10 levels in the labyrinth alone. Picked up some good equip and stowed away a bunch of the halloween only crafting mats for selling later on when the stock goes down and prices go up. Didn't get any of the rare weapons or armor aside from the slippers though. |

I just got a robocall from (I think it said) a washington state republican asking me to vote for them.
Problem is it came into my work phone. Also I'm in Canada. Dur. |

Rattlehead wrote on Nov 2, 2012, 16:38: Gamefly has BF3 premium on sale for $48, thats the original + all the DLC and expansions. I finally have a computer good enough to run it and always wanted to play. Yay or nay? Depends on your feelings about Origin. Despite its standard BF series flaws (balance, cheating) I enjoyed it immensely for several months. I've always preferred the large scale battles with vehicles style of game vs the COD style though. |

Draugr wrote on Nov 2, 2012, 16:24: And what has made star wars hot over the last decade? everything involving episode 1-3/clone wars, os if those are your jam then I don't see any reason why you'll be disappointed with whats to follow. Just like when George lucas was running the show, I'm not expecting too much. I don't really see it as good news or bad news. To flip that argument though Disney also successfully resurrected the dead Muppets franchise. Not to mention Disney rebuilding its own image via Pixar and other smart talent acquisitions. New external management could be just what Lucasarts needed.
Naturally all this speculation is waaay too early as the deal only went down recently. |

| In my mid 30's now and a new console generation just doesn't cause excitement anymore. I've always been a PC gamer but now its becoming my only platform. This might be the first console generation where I don't own either of the new Sony or Nintendo offerings. |
