Plus Intel doesn't have the scale for mobo manufacturing, which is why they allow those 3rd party mobos - it's much better for them to forego that revenue than to build and maintain that manufacturing capability. Well Intel already makes mobo's so I assume your talking about quantity. If they can successfully absorb the sales of all the other mobo manufacturers it might justify increasing production levels, neither of us have access to the numbers to confirm that. PC sales are also slowing which reduces demand. As for a benefit for all involved it sounds like they are only concerned with themselves if they didn't even bother to tell the 3rd parties about this until recently. Again if all of this is even true. |

It may make some sense for a mobile processor, though even then, but it sounds as if it makes none for desktop. No value. If they solder the chips right onto the board and do the production themselves then they can lock out companies like Asus/Gigabyte/etc from the mobo industry altogether. A literal manufactured monopoly on the Intel PC platform. |

Not believing in ghosts or spiritual bullshit one single iota I doubt I'd be scared like them. The flickering lights would worry me as a potential mechanical failure in an elevator, and the sheer "wtf" factor of a kid appearing out of nowhere would make me jump. No cowering because of a "ghost kid" though, you can tell even with a tiny windowed version of the video its a kid in makeup. Of course its easy to say something like that and an entirely different thing to experience it firsthand.
Still though since there ARE a bunch of superstitious people out there this video was golden.
Edit: Just realized I'd probably notice there was no momentum on the fake elevator either. |

The Half Elf wrote on Nov 26, 2012, 17:10: So what your saying is that..... Canadian Santa is like Canadian Bacon, it's not really bacon but more of a ham and therefore Canadian Santa doesn't exist? Great now I'm going to have to send my letters to Mexican Santa (and he makes shitty toys Blue!) Oh no Canadian Santa exists, he's just different. Instead of presents he gives out Canadian Tire money. His catchphrase is "Ho ho ho! Merry Non-Denominational Winter Festive Holiday Time!", and then apologizes if he offends anyone by that statement. He doesn't use reindeer for flight as frankly it gets pretty damn cold up here, instead he has a magic flying skidoo. Children leave out maple bacon and poutine for Santa to eat when he stops by and a steaming hot cup of Tim Hortons to wash it down. We hang our toques on the fireplace with care, with hope that Santa escapes the Polar Bears and will soon be there. |

| I always thought this game would lend itself well to capture the flag and king of the hill multiplayer types. I could see something similar to Battlefield with the zip lines in place of transport vehicles, blimps being mobile attack bases like the Titans in BF2142 and the independent floating city sections acting like capture points. Straight deathmatch would be terribly boring for this type of game I agree. But again, it would still be a side experience for me so I'd rather they focus on single player if they're struggling to finish it. |

| While I thought multiplayer could have been interesting with the type of level design they were going for, considering the apparent trouble they're having just finishing the game I'm happy to see it go if it'll get this thing out the door. |

ASeven wrote on Nov 25, 2012, 16:26: And this is what I've been saying here for a long time, the next gen of consoles more than likely will be pretty underwhelming all around. If the 6670 rumor is true then the next generation of consoles may bury the gaming industry instead of saving it. I have the opposite opinion. If the next gen of consoles has a major spec bump it'll be the end of the industry due to astronomical production costs. Innovation will stagnate due to the dangers of a single failed game collapsing a studio. PC gaming won't take over either, that ship has sailed. |

Black Friday 2012 Fights At Wal Mart Over Phones. WTF is wrong with people? Were there people in that clip? I saw cattle crowding around a feeding trough. It is weird how they were in a walmart though. Does walmart do livestock now? |

Happy American Thanksgiving. We Canucks already had ours so now its our turn to be envious envious of all your delicious turkey, stuffing, omnomnom.
I hereby propose both nations adopt the others holiday so we each get TWO thanksgivings per year. Bridging gaps between cultures yada yada. |

Pretty much spot on results unfortunately. Sad thing is they did it to the Soviets as well and noone learned from that history lesson. |

"Kasdan, Kinberg To Pen "Star Wars" 8 & 9. The pair join Oscar winner Michael Arndt ("Toy Story 3," "Little Miss Sunshine") who is writing the script for the upcoming "Episode VII"
I'm getting excited. I didn't think that was possible for this franchise anymore. |
