| The only positive I can spin from this is the potential of a Dice developed Battlefront 3. Any hope of seeing other old series revived is pretty much gone. Between this and "a new StarWars movie every year!" my tentative expectation for improvement post-Lucas is gone. |

| The Citadel DLC really is the perfect ending if you play it after the original ending. Just pretend that moments before the citadel blew up Scotty got the transporter back online and beamed Shepard to the Normandy....and then a pocket time rift created by the colored ending wave reversed the citadels destruction...and then they had a party. Logic! |

The "vaccine causes autism" movement has less science behind it than the movement to ban Dihydrogen Monoxide . At least the latter can be verified in a lab that it can harm people.

The Half Elf wrote on Apr 30, 2013, 17:38: So did my yearly cleaning out of the computer case and even pulled the CPU and redid the paste. Now I get power but can't get to the bios. Any ideas would help cause this nexus 7 ain't cutting it. Are you sure when you put it back together that the mobo circuitry isn't accidentally touching the case anywhere and thus shorting out? I did that once, took me hours to figure out why it wouldn't boot and then had my "doh" moment.
I'd suggest resetting the cmos with the jumper but if you know how to redo thermal paste I assume you know that already.
Did you find any loose little capacitors laying around that might have been knocked off? |

It actually runs off a new fusion reactor based on the Mr. Fusion design from Back to the Future 2. The eventual redesign of the system in 3-4 years time may switch to a matter/antimatter setup. This is assuming that by then the price of antimatter comes down a bit from being the most expensive substance on the planet. Fingers crossed! |

| Rumor mill says in order to compensate for the always-on feature causing issues when a customers ISP goes down the new Xbox will require two independent internet lines and will switch seamlessly between the two to avoid outages. When asked how they could justify requiring gamers to pay two different ISP's the MS rep responded with "get with the times and get two Internets." |

avianflu wrote on Apr 25, 2013, 14:47: true about the gamecube but the thing is -- I am not sure Nintendo is flush with cash these days. Time will tell. Oh they are absolutely flush with cash. We're talking Scrooge McDuck money vault/swimming pool levels. The "it prints money" meme during the Wii/DS heydays was surprisingly accurate. From this report:
"Buried in reams of financial data is the revelation that Nintendo have 812.8 billion Yen (£6.7/$10.5 billion) in the bank - enough for it to take a 20 billion Yen loss (£163/$257 million) every year until 2052. Then there's almost 469 billion Yen (£3.8/$6.0 billion) held in premises, equipment and investments. When that runs out - we're in the year 2075 by this point - they've got some of the most valuable intellectual property in gaming to sell off before the company goes out of business." |

Ok I bought it. That was the best main menu I've ever seen. Bonus points if you can get the game disc into the PC.
Edit: Jesus, the achievements. Normally I don't care about achievements but some of these are hilarious. Make the patient wear a scarf made out of their colon? Create a time lord (I'm assuming add a second heart)? Brilliant.

| PC Emulator outputted to TV with a controller in hand and your butt on the sofa. Throw HQ filters and assorted enhancements at them and they're even better than the originals (unless your a purist). Played through Super Metroid again over the weekend, nearly 20 years after release and it still holds up. Good times. |

I could see co-op working. Maybe have some enemies that need to be distracted by player 1 so player 2 can swoop in to attack. Riddles requiring two people to solve. Etc.
But as I don't play coop I'd prefer a solid singleplayer mode. |
