Don't forget the explosions. LOTS of explosions.

Indeed. Have one of the paintings contain a secret message pointing to a great treasure, only to have that treasure point to a bigger treasure at the end of the movie.

I smell franchise.

"Releasing this Thursday, Thief is the story of Garrett (played by Mark Wahlberg) a single father trying to earn money any way he can to pay for his child's chemotherapy treatments."

Nailed it.

Why is anyone storing game design documents for an unreleased game in any form of cloud storage in the first place? It's not like the is the first time a cloud storage account has been hacked and it certainly won't be the last time.

I've seen dumber. A few years ago a local program developer was storing all his files on Megaupload and for some insane reason didn't have local copies or backups elsewhere. When the Feds shut down MU all his code was lost.

It was hilarious. Like a digital darwin award.

I can see one benefit of this. If both you and your neighbours are comcast customers and your wired internet fails you should be able to use your comcast account to pick up the neighbours signal and keep going. Might be a bit slow with the weakened signal but it's better than nothing.

Still doesn't feel right that it's opt-out, even with all the technical reasons why it isn't an issue. Not sure why.

*puts pillow over GFWL's face*

Shhhh shhhhh it's ok, it'll all be over soon.

Seriously though remember how they wanted to charge money for this "service" initially? Just die already.

As a followup to the news about Harrison Ford hurting his ankle on set recently, apparently he broke his leg.

I assume when the Doctor told him he simply responded with "I know".

Featuring a new co-op concept where each player controls a limb on Adam Jensen to go find more gold screen filters scattered across the world.

Would it play like that Artemis Bridge Simulator? Can I play the part of the flip-out sunglasses?

When does the BF2143 beta start. Then we'll have something maybe worth it.

It comes out after Battlefield 4.5, Battlefield 5 and Battlefield Zombies. So about a year I'd guess.

If they do like Bioware did and take a beloved single player property due for a new installment and make it an MMO I'm going to be a sad panda.

Another world (or Out of this world). Great game. Short but worth at least one play. The visuals blew my little mind when playing the SNES version as a kid.

The reality is if there's a demand and people feel it's too costly they're going to cheat, lie, and steal. And the fact these corporations make money hand over fist in corporate welfare schemes means I really don't feel the least bit guilty about it. When they start paying their fair share to society then come talk to me. If they have zero problem about doing anything for buck why should I be a sucker that does?

Are you referencing a specific claim of HBO being some kind of corporate welfare queen or tax dodger or are you applying the sins of others to all of them?

Doesn't the digital version cost them less since there's no physical shipping or distribution? So the expensive way gets rewarded? I am confused.

Weirdly enough that graphics enhancement mod is also getting reports that it's fixing stuttering and improving performance for people. Makes you wonder wtf Ubi was doing.

Yeah, I really feel that VR is probably the biggest revolution in PC gaming since the invention of accelerated graphics. In the same way that accelerated graphics brought FPS games to the forefront while relegating the adventure and turn-based strategy genres (among others) to the back burner, it will cause a renaissance in sim, sim-lite, driving, and horror games.

Horror especially. Don't remember if it was linked to here but Joystiq did a an Oculus enabled preview of Alien Isolation and apparently it made the guy scream like a little girl. I remember reading about the audience reactions from the first movie. Since then we've become desensitized to a lot of that stuff and I think VR is a good way to reverse that.
