Indeed it did sir. She is the lovely and flexible Ginger Lynn She also came back for *cough* a second round in Prophecy.

As I recall, she wasn't bad.
Uh, are you referring to her as a porn actress or the part she played in the Wing Commander games? She was actually pretty good in both I don't think that her 'real' acting career ever went anywhere though. I could have sworn that I saw her on an episode of 'Cops' and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her she looks really really bad now. I even jumped up and pointed at the TV and yelled at my wife and said, "Holy Shit, that's Ginger Lynn!". Of course, she said, "Who's that?" And I was all like, "Uh...an old actress" *cough*. Yeah but the years have not been kind to her, she was pretty chubby and aged and looked like she was just used up...or maybe I should just say used? Lord knows she's taken more loads then a laundromat and aged female porn stars are a sad, sad sight *sighs*

maybe you could remove the section of fence that the tree is growing into and fashion it into some kind of 'skirt' that you then wrap around the tree (you might have to get some more of the picket fencing to make it go completely around the tree). Then maybe you could attach both ends of the fence to the skirt itself? Over time of course when the tree grows you have to let the skirt out a little bit more...much like my wife...

Um, don't tell her I said that

Don't forget that a lot of Chris Roberts' games have featured major voice actors and Squadron 42 is being developed as a full game in itself. It's also worth remembering that the game is going to raise significantly more money between now and its release, as many people are waiting for it to be released before buying it. I'd be surprised if the game doesn't hit $75m, given that this release pulled in $500,000 alone and it's managing $40 a day.

Also don't forget that most of those major names from back in the day hadn't been seen on a screen in years and/or were in 'low' points of their careers (Mark Hamill / Malcolm McDowell). As proven by their willingness to work in a relatively obscure medium (at the time).

This is no longer the case.

Even if they do hit $75M, spending a full 3rd of their budget on voice acting is absurd.

    Also, didn't WC3 feature a porn actress?

Forgive the slight derailment but, I sold enough plasma to buy the Elite: Dangerous Beta and I have NO REGRETS. If you want to play a modern version of 'Privateer' right now (without a campaign)...BUY THIS. The freedom is amazing, the graphics are simple but beautiful ( i've actually just sat in the middle of an asteriod field for like 15 minutes just watching the shadows play off of the other asteroids. It was awesome and relaxing). I just fly wherever, whenever, no pressure or care, it's wonderful. I broke out my old Logitec Wingman Extreme joystick and it actually works with this (and Windows 7 heh). The controls are completely remap-able but trying to fly with the mouse was a no go for me but you can do it. This is fully multiplayer right now (if you choose) and playing with real people is pretty much what you would expect...Most people are kind and helpful and of course there are the others that are already pirates and have the most powerful ships in the game and.....you want to stay away from these people It's still being fleshed out but plays very well right now and they are slowly opening up more sections of....well...the galaxy. If you can afford the 75 bucks and are a total space nerd like myself and itching to "get back into the black" BUY THIS GAME

The REAL tragedy here is that Tony Stewart wasn't the one that got ran over. Yeah, the kid made the mistake by getting out of his car. Tony Stewart, on the other hand, probably realizes that if he were to get out of his car, there would probably be a line of race cars, taking a number and patiently waiting for they're chance to run him over. The guy is a menace and almost as dangerous on the track as Michael Waltrip. But not so much with his driving skill like Michael's total lack of, but with his temper.

This started out like a house on fire, now it seems they spend more time on fluff than on the game anymore.

Problem I see here, they have gotten used to a constant flow of money and don't feel the need to be fiscally careful. This has doomed more games than anything else.

you have to start wondering if the game will ever be released in the form they are advertising. I have my doubts.
I think it's called, 'The John Romero Syndrome'. The disease seems to start by having cash, a shiny new working area, and a group of people eager to work under you. The project starts off like a shot then, slowly it turns into more hair products for the project leader and fake boobs for his squeeze and *cough* lead level designer... or so I have heard

I was thinking about having all this funding and all the pressure that Chris has to be under constantly. I mean, yeah yeah hookers and blow and all that BUT, the fact that he has to keep pushing and stressing and now, apparently, justifying the funding and delays and all the other bullshit that goes with making a game this huge, I just don't see how he's going to not be a total basket case by the end of it? I think if it was me I'd just have one giant stomach ulcer. Was just thinking that I don't know if I would want to be in his shoes is all. Just my 2 cent...well 50 dollars with inflation heh.
