News Comments > Blizzard TMs "The Dark Below"?

I think it makes the most sense as a WoW expansion. They have tried to have a unique theme for each one, and an entire expansion devoted to an "Underdark" theme would certainly make a lot of sense.

An Underdark theme would be really good. It would maybe get me back into the game. My wife will prolly stop talking to me during that entire period, which will be taken into account before I've made the decision.

Talking about the Underdark... I really hope a developer will dare venture into the Forgotten Realms (FAERŪN OFC!) again with a great RPG. NWN3, Menzoberranzan 2, whatever..

This is clearly an error on Nvidia's part. There has been no evidence that a GTAV PC port will be released alongside the console version.

No doubt there will be a PC version later down the road though.

However, it would make sense if NVIDIA knows more regarding a PC release. After all, the devs prolly need the support of the gpu manufacturers in order not to bring the same performance-cesspit to the market that was GTA4.

THEN, and only then, do they start to give in about the PC version. They've gotten pretty much all they can out of the console version, so now it's time to ring the PC version dry.

And? Rockstar may have started as a PC developer, but it wasn't until they switched to the PS2 with GTA3 that they became massively succesful. They've probably sold around a hundred million copies of their games on consoles. Kinda hard to complain when a dev favors consoles when their games sell 20+ million copies, and they were never succesful on the PC to begin with.

Bethesda, otoh...

You speak as if the guy you replied to was critisizing Rockstar for it. He wasn't. He was simply stating the obvious as a reminder that a PC version will most likely be released (once the console version has been whored dry etc).

Well, one thing we can say for certain: GTA5 won't come to the PC this fall. So that's one thing that already puts this guy's knowledge about it to question.

I understand Blue uploaded this as news, but I really think it's not.

Shadowrun? So fucking forgettable. The only thing that saved that game from being raked over the coals was fans' nostalgia.

Nope I think Jerykk is right this time. This looks like a proper balace between Chaos Theory and Conviction.

I think this one will be good.

12. Re: Ships Ahoy - Divinity: Dragon Commander Aug 8, 2013, 04:27 Quinn

The atmosphere on the ship is phenomenal, and for me it again proves what a retarded company Blizzard really is. It's simply better than Starcraft's on-ship gameplay. Since Starcraft 2 and Diablo I've come to realize that Blizzard had nothing but luck with it's former successes. But I'm trailing off..

The RTS part of D:DC is hideous so far. Like I feared before: those goddamn colours marking allies and enemies on the map! It's soooooooooooooooooo goddamn fucking abominal!!! A friend of mine said "Haha, that's RTS, mate.", but that's nonsense. All the character this game has on-ship is absolutely nowhere to be found during the RTS gameplay. It's like it's some very bad mini-game.

It is, however, interesting to fly around as a dragon while commanding your troops. Today I'll give ignoring those goddamn circus colours another shot...

Good review! I skipped through it a bit but.. hmm.. pretty cool!

Another thing... I want a new Drakan. Rynn and Arokh were da shizzle!!!! Fantastic game. Far, far ahead of its time.

Nah I'd say Rage is pretty much dead, they need a publisher interested in doing anything with it and it's sales pretty much assured no one will bother.

I still applaud ID for trying out a new IP instead of making the next Quake 5 or something... so they tried at least, and next one will be better.

Hard to disagree on that sentiment.

Indeed -_- I've seen a part of her presentation (was it Black Ops? Can't remember!) and I thought she handled herself quite well, considering she most probably hated the job.. hosting a show for such a fucked up target group.

I'm a gamer myself, but only because I play games. Doesn't mean I'm running around in real life secretly believing I'm Dovahkin or that I'm constantly trying to proof I know more about or am better at certain games. Because that's it with most gamers I know: it's a one-sided conversation, where the sender isn't receiving, too busy proving HIS worth while speaking and too busy with trying to come up with new proof while "listening" to do so. /rant

Anyway, no idea what's the problem with this actress. It's just another example of bad humor, which isn't exactly uncharacteristic from the target group either.

Lemme guess, in this pay 2 win model, the escort carrier will be $300, and the battlecruiser when unlocked will be $400?

This is exactly what I'm fearing and I don't really like the kinda future the gaming industry holds this way.

Either let me pay 40 bucks for a good game or let it be free. Pay 2 Win is horrible. I'm already playing that fucking game in real life.

Actually if you understand Quantum Mechanics and parallel universes, the ending makes perfect sense.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the ending of the first Bioshock, not Infinite.

No he wasn't. You're "leaving Rapture" also in Infinite. Also, check his later reply so that your level of certainty may be swayed.

I was pleasantly surprised. I am a huge Castlevania fan and never bothered with any of the 3D ones because they are generally shit but this was well done.

Still waiting for a proper 2D sequel to Dawn of Sorrow.

you've got to be referring to the graphics, because the controls for this game are utter shit. This game didn't last but 5 mins on my pc until I removed it.

This game screams console port, and demands a controller to even play it.

A shame too, Patrick Stewarts narrating was kewl. but game play wise what a piece of shit.
its a beat em up - your ass must be crazy if you aren't using a controller

Agreed. But then I'd go further and say you must be crazy to play a console game on a PC and use a controller too. Unless you don't have a console, of course, and you really wanna play the game in question.

This game looks really good; very promising!

I speak prematurely, without checking other gameplay vids yet, but isn't it wrong to compare the combat with that of Mass Effect? I thought it is still somewhat Turn-Based, is it not?

Played the demo. Just horrible. Graphics are alright -- with some proper detail for a change, unlike Darksiders! -- but the rest is horrible.

His weapon makes no fucking sense: a crusefix the size of his lower arm, yet it releases a chain spike so long that could lodge onto the fucking moon. Other than that this game is simply too much a console game. I don't fault the game for it, of course, because it IS, but it's just a reminder that I really don't like that stuff. You see the target group of the devs all over it: 12-15 year old boys who want to play pretend being the castlevania protagonist on the playground -- the way the guy walks tough, etc. And then those fucking cutscenes during and after almost Every. Fucking. Kill! So horrid. Gotta desuade my wife into buying a PS3 ater this reminder.

The game looked alright when I saw the first moments of the trailer. I thought they were going for a Lands of Lore kinda combat system. When I saw the actual combat, it turned me off immediately. No go for me.
