Don't do it jdreyer, it's a trap! Hint: there's no answer that will satisfy him, because that would require him to accept reality and that's a gateway drug to things like evolution and science. Blasted science, thinking it knows better just because it does.

Still waiting for a RDR pc port, they can fuck off until then.

It's kinda cool that Obama posed for that - makes him seem... I don't know... human?

There was no sprint til 10, I think, when the game launched. Now you're whining about it not getting it at level 1 if you're playing for free. It's still a fun game and you get a lot of content for NO money. I unlocked mounts on one of my alts with legacy perks. My son, who is new to the game, doesn't have that option. I don't mount up when we play together. Big deal...
Like EA, you don't get it. The point of Free to Play isn't to just offer players all your content for free. The point of Free to Play is to make them try out your MMO, then let them have a good time so that they will WANT to pay money for extras.
By locking out shit like SPRINT and actual portions of the UI, you are not allowing free players to have fun. you are deliberately gimping them in the hope that they will shell out for a subscription. But if the game is pissing me off, why would I subscribe?
This really isn't that hard. There is a reason Lord of the Rings Online's revenues TRIPLED after they went Free to Play: Because they let players have FUN, didn't restrict anything at the start, and so people wanted to spend money.
EA is doing it exactly the opposite way, and sadly for them, it's not going to work.

Sounds like it's mostly a monster-arena style thing?

So it's the shitty DLC from the first game that everyone hated without a big stash to force people to get it? No wonder they can turn this out so quickly. Enclosed arenas are the lamest form of DLC no matter who makes them, why repeat past mistakes?

Hooks no longer matter now with this "Season pass" bullshit.
Actually neither does quality for that matter. What if the 3rd or 4th DLC sucks? Refund?? LOL GL!
Though true, remember that Gearbox desperately wants you to buy BL3 and the season pass for BL3.
If the season pass for BL2 ends up a bad value then they won't have repeat customers. Obviously some companies aren't able to think that far ahead, but you often act like every company wants to screw you. Everyone knows that no one got rich making everyone feel screwed over. There's no long term prospects in that.
Sounds like your point of view. Someone keeps buying CoD, Sims, AssMold-Farmer2013, etc....
I own exactly 3 CoDs, 1 Sims (bought the original, played it for about 2 hours), not exactly sure what AssMold is, why you capitalize it so oddly, and why anyone would farm it, but whatever, man, just make random generalizations that mean little...
