Doesn't your provider offer On-Demand of prime time / big popular shows, seems at least TWC does around here.
If you're DVR'ing it, you're likely not watching it the evening it airs. If you aren't watching it the evening it airs, but you likely will in the next few weeks, just use the on-demand features provided.
Or go with an XBMC option on the main screen. |

Is a single virtual battlemech worth $24 USD?
Other than some pricing ... inconsistencies ... which I have issue with, I have nothing but good to say about the game itself. I am excited to see the meta game arrive, along with some control over whch map you play. The game could be greatly improved with a lobby system similar to L4D - the crap shoot of a matchmaker is probably the weakest part of the game, which could be easily remedied by putting the "logic" of the system into the hands of the players and lettng them coordinate the matches themselves. |

Google's solution is in the article... Don't build out to cover the whole country. Focus on high density / high consumption areas, and near their own datacenters.
I'd like to volunteer the Raleigh/Durham area for their next trial. |

I've never met a TWC customer that had positive things to say about them. Just this afternoon some folks from the next table over at the pizza joint chimed in on a conversation I was having with my buddy who just had a 14hr ordeal with them.
TWC isn't good by any means, they're just the best available out of the choices in our pseudo-monopolistic markets. |

Without a doubt Penny Arcade has lost me as a fan by doing this, just as Blue would if he went down this route.
If anything Penny Arcade should have taken on double the ads in order to contribute themselves more money into needy independent game development projects on kickstarter, instead they're undermining the ecosystem that has given rise to their very existence.
Evil in action? No, just poorly thought out decision making on their part. |

Note that Games Workshop is not yet a participant in this discussion - someone posted a picture and said, "Hmm, I wonder if Games Worksop will sue? Hint. Hint." - Everyone is out to get EA
Also, there really is a limited variation possible in feasable tank chassis construction - it should be noted that EVERY tank design is an evolution of previous incarnations, weapons of war having the ultimate goal of survival.
Additinally, the profiles of these tanks differ, recognition profile cards would show this quite clearly - those in the business of distinguishing tanks for their survival would never confuse the two.
That said, yeah, that artist had some on-the-company free time that week.
As for Genestealers being a rip off of Alien - they really look nothing alike, aren't Geiger-esque, not even from their early days in Space Hulk - if they're a rip off, then any extraterrestrials fighting humans are. It's just easy to make the Mariens vs Strange Aliens connection because the rest of the time they're fighting space orks, elves, or robots - Tyranids are the only real aliens in the lot.
Later on some of the other Tyranid models took an an Alien-like flavor, just as in Alien 3 (well after Genestealers) the Aliens were first shown to grow based on their host -presumably their DNA. |
