Does that mean that we can sue the government for running a monopoly? That's what RIAA/MPAA are, when you think about it.

My bias against the Patriots runs deep. However, when they cut Tiquan Underwood the day before the Super Bowl, they deserved to lose. Congrads to the Giants on their win, now maybe the horde of Patriots fans here in this town will shut the hell up for a while.

There's some interesting facts in the article on pirates and the studios, but overall he doesn't really make much of a case. There's certainly a case to be made, but he doesn't seem to understand how to make it. Pointing at things that Thomas Edison did is not an indictment of the current studios unless you can draw the necessary parallels to what is being done today. He didn't do that well at all.

I dunno, I thought he made his case rather well. Did you even read the article? Or just the tl;dr version?

That headline should read "FBI seeks another legal way to invade your privacy". It's amazing how all these anti-privacy bills and requests are all coming up at once, isn't it?

That's good. That's not enough. The entire bill needs to be scrapped, and the author of it charged under the Patriot Act for un-American activities.

When MMO's go from pay play to free to play aka pay to win, it's a bad sign. It's the slide to eventual oblivion.

Yes. It certainly resulted in the demise of LotRO.

Oh, wait. No it didn't.
Or Anarchy Online, for that matter.

I'm wondering just how long it'll be before some other attorney looks this crap over and determines it's not enforceable.

Now if they'd add MechWarrior 2 to the list, many of us would be quite happy.
