I'm not surprised with your response, because you're another victim as well just like this guy. You've spoken already about how you're revisiting/playing after these updates. So, I'm not surprised. And yes, by continuing to play, he is supporting the company. Your inappropriate and misapplied use of the word victim aside, if he is having a good time and enjoying himself then there is no problem. It's his money, it's already spent which invalidates your entire argument and quite frankly it's none of your business. You aren't some special snowflake who gets to tell people what to play and how to spend their money. People like different things, grow up.
If you were in any way remotely objective or reasonable, you'd understand that Blizzard deserves criticism for their mistakes but they also deserve praise when they get something right. Well, that's why I said he's pushing himself to continue playing it. He's telling himself to enjoy it because he spent $60 on it.
Blah, whatever.
Have fun being owned by blizzard and playing your single-player game online only, and only when Blizzard says so. Forever. |

Just eat the $60 and move on, dude.
Don't support these companies and their development practice of rushing products and patching later.
Just stop playing. Uh, its his money, not yours there little fella. It's already spent anyway, he isn't "supporting" anything by just playing the game and having fun. It's a patch of largely positive changes that are moving things in the right direction, you can't put a negative spin on that just because you have a hard on for Blizzard. I'm not surprised with your response, because you're another victim as well just like this guy. You've spoken already about how you're revisiting/playing after these updates. So, I'm not surprised.
And yes, by continuing to play, he is supporting the company. By having less people play, the game eventually dies and the company eventually learns. So far, I see they've learned nothing. No proof whatsoever that they've learned anything. They just feed you a couple of cookies, and you're already back on board playing it again? lulz.
Companies taking advantage of whats known as "Patching", is what's happening here. You're supporting that. You should not.
Back in the day, a patch was really a patch. It was rare, and it only fixed critical bugs. Back in the day, a game was not rushed out the door. It was tested. |

"Waahhhh, no one is buying our games. WTF devs?" "<Devs> It's piracy." *Devs will say anything to shut their manager up and to redirect the heat from them to the users. "Okay. It must be piracy!"

Sadly, no, it isn't piracy. It's because people just don't play your shit. And any piracy that takes place is because of spite against your DRM policies. Any piracy done is because to demo the game before they buy, and guess what? They didn't like the demo, and so they aren't going to buy it. |

How old is the language, English? Should we bring on a new language because English is old? How come your parents are related? Too lazy? Yup, that's what I'd thought you'd say. You got nothing, so you get mad then act out and try to troll me with some random statement. lol. |

Dude, did you wake up with a porcupine in your butt or what? No one is shoving anything down your throat. Don't want it? Don't buy it.
I swear some people... You're missing the point. I guess you haven't seen what happened to D3. |

Do you have a valid source for B or just spouting off BS?
You don't need a valid source. It's pretty obvious just from looking around at what's been happening and what people have been saying. All the heat going on. Then, word of mouth travels to those that don't visit forums or gaming sites, and then they will stop playing because their friends stopped. A ripple effect.
edit: and it's easy to assume that 85% of the playerbase for D3 are the same people that grew up with D1/D2, and they all have expectations that were not met. In fact, they are realizing that they were simply taken advantage of.

Bhruic wrote on Aug 21, 2012, 10:47: I'd really like to know what their justification is for capping MF at 300%. Oh, it's because the hardcores whine to Blizzard about how it unbalances the game and they probably feed Blizzard 5 pages of technical reason as to how it unbalances the game. So, Blizzard goes and fixes it.
But, in most cases, Blizzard will cap something so that as a result you end up playing more. Playing more than you should normally have to. |

Yup. Spend your time on this F2P game, and be deceived until the very end when you reach max level and then begin to realize that you need to buy items to enjoy the game.
Ahhhhhh, yes, you gotta love them companies and their F2P games... |

I think people are still having fun on the previous Counterstrike.
We don't need another one.
Not our problem companies need to keep a steady stream of revenue going and aren't selling enough games. |

Corps should stop leading people on, and be real with them and say "look, we actually aren't sure how this will pan out, so this will just be a 1 year contract job." But noooo, corps don't like to do this for some reason; they like to lead you on, hire you, then do the old "Layoff" trick ... |
