nin, can you please tell Blue to post a topic about Dell now forces Windows 8. Because, they are. Dell's reason? It is "technology advances, and yadda yadda yadda...", I just got off the phone with one of their IT reps.
That topic from several days ago "Dell considers to continue selling Windows 7", is over now. You'll find laptops on Dell's site that force Windows 8.
So, looks like Microsoft is aware of all the heat(negativity) on them about Windows 8, and instead of acknowledging it, they would rather sweep it under the rug and now demand/force it on people. Looks like Microsoft has made Dell their bitch.
I know Microsoft needs to stay in business, but that's not our problem. That's their problem. No one asked for Windows 8. Seriously, NO ONE asked for this. People are just fine with their Vista/Windows 7, and they dont need a drastic change + closed market of software.

The point is that no one asked for this. It's all business. Business needs to stay in business, and that's not our problem; it's the business's problem.
Average Joe people are just getting into windows, and now everything is changing; it's quite annoying. It's annoying; not scary. |

I think it's safe to assume that Best Buy employees don't give a shit about that. It's just a shit temporary job before they move onto their real career. |

I don't see how this game could possibly suck, given their history of doing games like this already and given plenty of time(until 2014) to do it. I also believe I heard one of the devs say they already have a an early prototype working.

I don't understand why they don't factor in the paypal numbers.
But, I also don't understand why people are donating via paypal instead of just going through the appropriate route of kickstarter and getting rewards from it. |

I mean, seriously, why is it our problem that you do not have the resources to handle all the communication you get from millions of people, to a point where you have to filter/ignore everyone or have a long queue or whatever. That's not my problem, that's your problem.
If you can't handle all the communication that comes in from millions of people, then maybe you shouldn't be in business trying to service millions of people... |

Thx for the free trailer, Beth. I enjoyed it, and the music.
You can take your rehashed product--with it's new file format and no modding capabilities--and kindly shove it up your ***. Good day. |

No one answered him, lol. But I guess he found the link.

My logic is that I don't have an infinite supply of money to throw around at the time-sensitive kickstarters so I have to pick and choose which ones seem like they need the most help. Once a game is greenlit there's every likelihood that it will be released one day and I can buy it at my leisure. Ya ya, w-h-a-t-e-v-e-r... Carry on. |

I had intended to donate to this but by the time I got around to it they were well on the way to surpassing their second stretch goal, so I didn't. They clearly didn't need it.
I will definitely be buying this on release though. Yes, but if you back it for $25, then you get the game for $25, rather $60 in a store. More likely $40 or $50. Which I would have no problem paying. I don't mind paying full price in order to tell the industry that these are the types of games I want to play. By being a backer, you're delivering that same message of support to the industry. I don't understand your logic. But, whatever. To each their own. lulz. |

| Okay okay, I backed this project for $25. It's my first back. Just signed up to do it. Why? Because 1) that picture, 2) frequent updates to their kickstarter, 3) their past history of games, 4) GOG (DRM-free) option, and 5) because of all the hype. |

I started out dissing this project because of it's title, but now I'm more excited than ever about this project, and I'm not even a backer nor interested. Wait, does that make sense?
That art picture of the dungeon levels is so epic. I loved that picture even before I knew it was able to grow depending on the budget. Now I love watching it grow.
Anyone else in the same boat as me?
