So far the reviews have been unexpectedly and surprisingly high.
But I mean they did focus on single player so who knows. Maybe it actually is a decent game.

There isn't any Multiplayer. TB mentions it in his video, and the Steam Store page only lists Singleplayer.

that's good! not every game needs multiplayer... if they spent more time on the singleplayer and the game is indeed 15-20 hours then the replayability should still be enough to warrant the asking price.

one thing that i noticed from the TB video linked earlier is the poopy texture res. the game is nearly 50GB and with poop textures?! what's taking up all that space then? uncompressed streaming audio?
Your video card may not be displaying the high-res textures. There were reports of video card drivers issues for this game.

It's not free if you have to go through a pitiful tedious registration process of gaining a battle.net account ("Sorry, that username is taken.", "Sorry, that password isn't complex enough.") ... sigh

Things used to be simpler when there was simply a Downloads page with links to these games.

4GB of ram? wtf? Windows 7 can't even run properly with only 4GB of ram. It becomes sluggish quite quickly after you install everything like updates, drivers, software, and more.

At this point, shouldn't anyone who is announcing their game is now F2P should also add in a statement of proof that it's not going to be P2W?

What a waste of time.

Should be illegal to waste people's time with things that waste your time.

remember, BF4 is not BF4. It's BF3.5. You're being milked by EA with this franchise.

why do you think it's on sale right now?

vote with your wallet.

That pricing just makes me want to dislike Blizzard. That may be an invalid reason for disliking a company, but sorry, I just can't help but find myself thinking "wtf? Blizzard, you're weird..."

Not surprised that big games (mmos) are difficult to get support, especially for a critical bug such as this one. Several weeks? Pathetic.

Sad.

Can you mod this version? I wouldn't be surprised if you can't.

Besides, no one wants EA tracking their gaming of this on Origin, especially the mods.

OMG that helmet animation

It's not even a matter of putting the cart in front of the bull. It's a matter of worrying about the spinners on the wheels on the cart.

The fact that ANY development time went into something like that helmet sequence at this stage in the production does not bode well in my eyes. I don't care what their PR machine says or how many employees they have on staff. That should not have been any sort of priority.

Bring on the burritos!

What's wrong with polishing the game as you develop it? I know typically polishing comes afterwards, but I personally am polishing my own product as I develop it, just so that I don't have to go back to then do polishing because it's already done.

The earth's landscape isn't handmade.
Actually, it is. God hand-crafted Earth. But a feeble human brain cannot comprehend that; cannot comprehend that of the mind (and power) of a God, thus you are only capable (and probably selfishly desiring to) believing that it is randomly generated.

God built this planet out of his love for us. It's all "the art of God", every inch of it.

Randomly-generated land ruins the meaningfulness of said land, thus making the game boring(like a tedious meaningless repetitiveness grind) and lessens the feeling of accomplishment.

1. Re: New Titanfall Game Modes Coming Mar 26, 2014, 09:41 deqer

Looks like devs didn't finish their homework again and they catching up and will release the rest of the game modes later, in DLC format. That's rich.

Companies taking advantage of the "patching" system.

And generally speaking of DLC, why not make it so people can make DLC themselves and release it for free, like how it was in the 90s when people could make mods(such as Team Fortress) for Quake and release them for free.

The real question is why the fuck does it bother you so much? At no point was there ever an offline mode, so it's not like you got tricked into buying it and then it wan't there.
The real answer is, people were tricked into buying it because 1) The "fine-print" online-required message on cover; keyword being "fine-print", and 2) the big title "Diablo 3" on the cover being a misleading title, instead of having a more accurate title of "Diablo 3 Online"

You know what "fine-print" is, right? The very definition and purpose of "fine-print" is to "trick" you.

Yeah, it's a Diablo game, the game can sell millions on the brand name alone
More evidence of how the "big title" was abused to trick people.

There you go.
