Every time I have switched the channels and come across this show, I found myself watching a BORING scene. Every time.

Also, I don't like the fact that the Rambo chick from Dexter is in it.

So, forget this show.

What kind of "lost soul" person would make such a notion? Has humanity really come down to that "low" of a level, that you would ignore truth/justice/evidence simply because the evidence was acquired through illegal means? What does the "means" matter, when the material is the evidence/truth! for justice!

lol

Tell them I hate their fucking popup windows. I mean why???

At least Steam waits until you're done gaming first before the popup (of new games) pops up. It doesn't shove the popups at you soon as you login. No. It waits until you're done gaming (and about to close Steam).

EA, you're still 10 years behind Steam, on tons of features and functionality and solidness--due to your own greed.

I know your ego--with Battlefield franchise(running on Frostbite/DICE)--makes you think you can do this, but not me.

Your reasoning for leaving Steam is very poor, and for that I will not support you or your Origin platform alternative.

"While the motives are unclear"

Really? You can't possibly imagine a possible motive? Why not start by looking at your list of bans, and the reasons you provided for such bans, and check again whether those reasons were valid or not.

I'd prefer an hourly charge for how much you use it, if they really want to push a subscription model.
Nope, won't happen. I agree, but it won't happen. Companies have learned that that is not how they make their money; that's how they lose money. They learned that they make tons of money by having you constantly pay a flat rate monthly fee.

He's going to defend himself, for "wrongful termination", and he'll win. Companies are so unorganized/unprofessional that they have nothing of fact to present to the table to warrant the termination.

Company would have to rely on their Technical Lead/Project Manager at the least--and even then there's probably not enough material/evidence to be provided--, and I doubt he'll cooperate anyways, unless he's a slime ball.

Honestly, that title should say "Microsoft have forced over 100 million people to purchase Windows 8."

because really, given the fact that all the windows 7 pages were deleted, and redirects created for those that redirect you to windows 8 only now. people had no choice. even Dell--for a period of time--was forcing people to use Windows 8 only, surely because MS told them to.

No offline single player mode.

"work in progress" doesn't mean you show in-game footage that looks better than what the released product ends up being.

"work in progress" isn't a backwards thing. It's a forwards thing. The finished title is supposed to look better than what your "work in progress" video showed, not look worse.

This is regularly untrue in most industries so stop saying it. Again, cars never look like prototypes, oculus rift is uglir than what was shown on kickstaryrr, Kinect can't see fingers like the prototype, and many games get uglier when they can't get the final version to run as well as what they showed.
Just because you throw a few more examples out there of other people doing it wrong, doesn't make it right.

Beamer wrote on May 4, 2013, 09:39:
And, again, typically what you see at e3 is faked. Its optimization and polish done that hasn't been applied anywhere else and often can't be.
Yup. It's misleading, therefore wrong and should be illegal.

Yes, because many of these games were "Mods" for the "Half-life" game.

Defense Grid is a good game.

I did not let myself be "nickel and dimed" by DLCs' expansion packs; they are wise to make a new game "Defense Grid 2", because THAT, I will buy. And it's been long enough for me to feel comfortable buying it; it's not like EA where they make a new Defense Grid game every year; nope, I won't support that.

People that dislike DRM are disliking it for the wrong reasons. It's not about "internet disruptions"; it's about control; to own you; to track you; data mine you.

"they concluded this was the time that taking the servers offline would have least impact"

Really? 1pm on a weekday would have the least impact on the players?

Sounds like it would have the least impact on your employees, rather players.

You should be doing it at 1am in the morning, not 1pm.

But hey, we're just sheeple, right? No importance to you.

why the **** should I? No, thanks.

Next time, think of "usability" when promoting your game and just use what everyone already has, Flash player.

One million players obviously isn't enough for EA. Best get back into Sim City and play the shit ouf of it, people, because its plug is on the short leash.

Yup. I was thinking the same thing.

I feel sorry for the victims of this system; the people that purchased the new Sim City game. They were lured in by a misleading title on the game cover of "SimCity" instead of "SimCity Online"

I wasn't fooled though. Nope. EA won't fool me.

Sad thing is, people realize "wtf is this?" once they start installing it, and it forces them to go through Origin, and forces them to be connected online at all times, and then they try to return the game and EA says "nope. you should've read the 'fine print'"

EA is such shit. Spread the word. Tell your friends.

Friends don't let friends play games by EA.
