those Digital Extremes guys did a lot of work on the original Unreal, so Epic Games shouldn't take all the credit...

yeah, for Unreal i didn't think the singleplayer was that great at the time but the multiplayer was awesome! a lot of other good multiplayer games came out after around that time also. i still preferred QuakeWorld. |

CoD playing graphics catch up with Crytek/Crysis (One) engine or maybe almost Frostbite/BF3, yet BF4's graphics still is way-way better. And I mean way better. Show me some new innovative gameplay or something because what I was not impressed with what I've seen in the videos so far. What they showed in the press event also didn't impress me much, and with how they were saying MW3's models were "state of the art" at the time which is pure B.S.

| Most of the games industry now seems like the B-movie industry, just making B-grade low budget story games. They hire teams of writers and they still can't come up with a better story than a good regular summer blockbuster movie. This is another reason why I be reading books or watching movies/TV shows instead of playing games these days, to get my story fix... |
