Dark Souls PC is a bad port. The KB/M support is abysmal and totally broken. They put so little effort into the port that it's easy to assume that they were forced to do it by the publisher and simply wanted to cobble something together and ship it.

As far as the game being designed for gamepads it's undeniably true. That said there is nothing about the gameplay itself that wouldn't work properly with KB/M if any effort had been made to support it at the basic level. I'm slogging my way through the game slowly using KB/M and it's certainly doable with some tweaks to mouse sensitivity, but it's an aggravating experience beyond the inherent difficulty of the game itself. Great game, awful port.

Plays much better with a 360 controller because of the triggers in the battle system. Although you can turn them off completely, but I could never do that.

I agree. This is one of the very few games on PC that I prefer to use a controller for.

It's VERY Japanese. Which is fine; I love me an old-school JRPG. Just be warned if JRPG's aren't your thing.

True enough, but the battle system sets it apart from most other JRPGs. Turn based with multiple unions(squads) composed of individual soldiers is one of my favorite things about the game. The combat is fun and challenging with a bit of complexity from mid-game through the ending.

The Last Remnant for $10 is a steal. It's a fun game with a great battle system.

Can you marry another race? an Argonian Khajiit baby would be cute right?

No, that'd be "pandering" to the furry community.

Well if you listen to the interview it's possible to marry a 'beast' race, although no mention of progeny was made. You can certainly characterize it as you see fit, but pandering would seem to be a fair appraisal of motivation.

That interviewer (Max?) came across as a clueless twit. He could've done a bit of preparation and tailored his questions toward the core competency of his guest. Eh, whatever.

So same-sex marriage is ridiculous but fighting dragons, werewolves and vampires is not? Let's stick to the important topics...like the number of fish in the game.

It's just some silly pandering, but really what difference does it make? This is just some optional content that's intended to set some hearts aflutter amongst the LGBT crowd and relatively meaningless in any other context. *shrug*
