Let me contribute to the thread with the generic, stock DRM comments you see in a comments section like this:

"I was interested in this game, but thanks to DRM I will avoid it" Translation: I had zero interest but just want to bitch about DRM for the sake of it

"I'm gonna buy it and crack it"
Translation: I was never going to pay for it but still pirate it

"This is draconian and a violation of my rights as a consumer!"
Translation: I don't even know what draconian means but it sounds sophisticated so I will use it in my post I read somewhere else.
Translation: It's my right to belittles everyone who doesn't agree with me.

What are you republican?

Some people don't have the luxury of having maybe the internet all the time. Others have Time Warner that is moving to a model of charging by the bandwidth used per month so you have to pay to play games on line that eat up bandwidth for the hell of it.

I OWN 3 copies of From Dust and Settlers 7 (for me and my kids) The first chance I get you're damn right I'm hacking it because It's a waste of F-ing bandwidth for starters. All just so they can "secure it?"

Really? If DRM is sooo secure why does it still get hacked and removed then? DRM just punishes legitimate owners in the slim .0001% chance it might detour 1 person from pirating. That's pretty damn dumb. Meanwhile, it will detour 10,000 people from buying. Hey news flash if someone wants a game for free, they're going to get it.

So having my legitimate game stop every 5 minutes because their servers get overloaded due to the fact that they're too cheap to buy more than 60% of capacity for their "cloud." (Not to mention when someone in my house is watching Hulu.) BLOWS...

Wise up just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make them wrong. (maybe, just maybe, everyone else might be right and you're the one who's wrong.)
