800 games? I call bullshit. I guess it's possible, if you buy pieces of shit like Infestation. You must have a CoC...Catalog of Crap. You probably paid into Earth: Year 2066 lol.

I don't think that's out of the realm of possibility. I've got more than 350 games on Steam, 50 on Gamefly, 20 on Origin, 50 on Android, and about 50 or so boxed copies dating from the 90s through a few years ago. And I have done a couple of boxed game purges in my life getting rid of about 100 games each time.

Also, I think Prez's Steam account alone is up over 2000.

Have any of you been outside in the last 20 years?
out... side? new game?

A much better round of reviews for Bound by Flame, damn it is a hard game... getting my arse handed to me atm like the start of Dark Souls.

The combat is much better than Dark Souls, you definitely feel like you are doing more not just swinging and blocking. It provides on its advertised tactical combat so far.

Since when is 8/10 okay?

I read the review, not just the score. GameInformer doesn't tend to be very hard on games in my experience either.

Happy I waited for reviews! Shame about the game though
You need to play the game mate and not listen to retards. Look at the videogamer.com review which is 4 paragrahs and gives it 2/10 skewing the metacritic score. It shouldn't even be counted, its pathetic.

GameSpot open with the most pathetic criticism about technology that doesn't even exist in any game. You can change your characters name but its not referred to anything but the default, great opening argument from an idiot if you ask me.

Average 7 from users on Metacritic, which is fair. It's not a AAA title, good game on a budget so far.

And GameInformer are realistic, I know and professional.

Played Bound by Flame last night and it is pretty awesome. The combat feels good and the boss fight I came up against was pretty damn hard. It isn't a very easy game which is good. It is definitely not a simple hack and slash game you do need to use tactics which is good and as advertised.

Very little to say negatively at this point.

Red Faction II was just weird. I played it years after it came out, probably around 2007-2008? and it was just terrible but Volition didn't develop it, probably busy with Saints Row at the time.

Seems fairly pricey for a phone game. Guess I'll risk it when it hits the $5 and under mark.
This is the kind of game you would actually buy... oh boy. After all your high and mighty comments.

Shut up.
I forgive you. I looked at it on Steam somewhat interested. But you are clearly very old.

[Update]
Sorry, gamersgate I found it on... still have the tab open. I have many tabs open... some from the start of the year. Who needs favourites/bookmarks.

1.2 across both major consoles after a month, worldwide? That's fucking pathetic.
I liked Dark Souls but I didn't buy it Dark Souls 2... yet. My excitement dropped when the quality dropped. Not paying a AAA price for a BBB quality game. I'd say 1.2 mill is good for a niche game though.

Red Faction was a fun Multiplayer game and the modding community of which I was apart for a time was truly amazing and supportive. Great memories. Great game.

I'm not expecting much. Mars: War Log was mediocre at best and this doesn't really look any different. I'd love to be pleasantly surprised, though.
Come on, this looks WAY better than Mars War Logs, way way way better.

But it has always been there, dah dah daaahhh!

It seemed better last time I played it, a week ago, compared to the previous month or two ago. Still, pathetic amount of progress compared to where the mod was at.

Jerykk wrote on May 3, 2014, 05:36:
The idea is that the engine uses MegaTextures, which are gigantic but allow you to use a single texture for a whole environment, as opposed to numerous, smaller textures. The theoretical benefit is that you can avoid repetition and make every surface and detail look unique. The reality is that this uniqueness doesn't hold much value to most players and the textures look bad up close because they're being scaled up to cover huge areas. I imagine the textures in this game are even bigger than the ones in RAGE to help compensate for that shortcoming, hence the doubled HDD space requirement.

I really don't understand why anyone would choose to use id Tech 5 after the numerous issues it had in RAGE. Much like id Tech 4, it is a failure as an engine and should have died with the game that debuted it.
That is your opinion and I hold the opposite. Rage is a beautiful game that is truly unique. The texture repition issue of other games is disgusting, tiles, blah! The technology will only get better as technology does.

Hopefully it is put to good use in Wolf, we will have to wait and see.
