The 360 controller really is awesome though, and many modern PC games play better with it besides Dark Souls. Assassin's Creed is a good example. Had to admit this last year as well. First off I had the Afterglow 360 controller, good controller but had some config issues. So I ended up buying an official controller and it's even better.
Played the following with it...
Blades of Time Dark Souls Saints Row 2 Ninja Blade (From Software game... Dark Souls dev) Gas Guzzlers ArcaniA - Gothic 4 seemed better with it too Batman... |

Don't forget the whole keyboard+mouse thing. For people who are trying to do actual work on a PC. Given that PC advancement is slowing down it's only a matter of time before other things catch up, and the "mouse and keyboard" argument isn't a valid one, as ANYTHING can have a mouse and keyboard.
Using something by sitting at a desk with a keyboard will never, ever change. At least not in the medium term future. But why should that thing be a giant box CPU? Lol, what did I say? Read what I said.
"Only a matter of time", we are a longer way off than people want to think/believe/admit. |

The sooner we can get a shitty console port that's poorly optimised, has terrible graphics and is bundled with layer upon layer of shitware (SecuROM, GFWL, Rockstar Cuntclub). lol, Rockstar Cuntclub
I like that. |

| Good to see Dark Souls got some love during the flash sale. Must have sold a lot of copies to make top ten from a flash sale. |

Yes, this game is OLD, been on Green Man Gaming for ages as well.
I bought it full price. It looks good but the gunplay is pretty terrible. The RTS elements are basic and don't blend well. If you like budget games - it's probably worth a look but it was disappointing. There are definitely other budget games I could suggest over this one despite it's WWII theme (which I always have to have!) |

RAGE is an FPS shooter and it was advertised as such.
Critical graphical issues on launch pissed a lot of people off who have since not even bothered to go back to the game. Some so pathetic as the whinge about the file size (take a look around this is actually a big complaint - wtf? games aren't getting smaller).
Others, didn't like the story. Were confused that it wasn't Borderlands (or another RPG). Or simply didn't like the art style.
I'm not sure anyone was happy with the ending. We ALL wanted a boss fight I am sure. |
