Peter O'toole died yesterday. Sad weekend.

damn. watch The Lion In Winter if you haven't already - one of the great film performances of all time imo, from the whole cast including peter. i think i'll watch it again when i get home from work.

His performance in The Night of the Generals is one of the finest I've ever seen. I haven't seen The Lion In Winter yet.
Completely agree, watched that with my partner, we both enjoyed the character and how well he played it.

Sad news indeed.

Since I have long used Blue comments to gauge interest in game, let me add my 2 cents.

My wife and I were looking for a 'builder' to play co-op, and this has been the best for us so far. Any other suggestions are always appreciated though!

7DTD has provided that mixture of challenge along with purpose to keep things interesting.

Minecraft (Space Engineers, Blockscape, etc) feel to open without a point to them.

Dayz (Nether, Rust) feel too PvP and we are more PvE-centric.

Terraria (Starbound) Sorry have been playing 2D since the 70's. And its hard to go back.

CubeWorld, StarForge, Planet Explorers are all possibilities. Just waiting for them to flesh out more.
Looking for the same thing to play with my partner.

How is 7DTD better than Minecraft? Have you tried the millenaire mod?

Pretty much any kickstarter that has tiers with beta access does the same thing. That's why Planetary Annihilation was so expensive when it came on steam. They have to set the price to whatever folks on kickstarter paid, otherwise all those people would be pissed. Personally, I've got enough games to play for years to come, so I don't mind waiting for all the new games to go on sale, get patched, and running properly before firing them up. I rarely ever replay a game, so I'd rather have it work on the first try.
This is so true, I just have too many great games to play. The only AAA game that I have bought recently at a high price (still on discount) was Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag cos it just sounded so good and I had too... very glad I did

It's sad that it has been years that I've felt the strong urge to play something I could not wait for

Considering their last game was The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct, I guess I can't say I'm surprised by this. That game turned out so poorly that it would have killed just about any studio.
I've played a bit and it's not bad gameplay wise. I didn't pay much for it, the US price is just a rip off.

Main story is not that very interesting compare to far cry 3, it felt like they cut the story in the middle for sake of DLCs.
That makes no sense... the announced DLC won't be Kenway

Apparently the SP DLC "Freedom Cry" will come out on the 17th.

The extra missions you get with the Deluxe version are cool.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on Useless Gamers. One paragraph.
I agree, Buy It. Even if it was $200 it would be worth it. OMG, so worth it. Never played an Assassin's Creed game ( and still doesn't seem like I am ), amazing. Blows my other choice for GOTY out of the warrtterr

Definitely interested in seeing how this turns out. Mechanically, TW2 wasn't bad. It's just that the writing was so bad and setting so generic that it was difficult to find motivation to continue playing. Hopefully they hired some decent writers for this one.
Well first of all they are finishing off the game not developing from scratch, second of all I think Two Worlds II has some of the most entertaining and interesting side quests in any RPG, however the main story is definitely lacking, I agree there but the side quests are so much more than the standard.

Maybe they will add some MP/Coop action to this.
