| I still haven't picked a race/gender for my 1st character (oddly, I have picked my 2nd character). Any suggestions for a mage? |

| Fully voiced randomly generated questing? Sounds good to me, if they can actually pull it off in a way that's fun to play. But will they? I know it's off topic, but... I'm also wondering how Diablo III is going to handle random questing... |

| Isn't it a bit odd that this announcement comes only one week before the launch of the game? I thought gold announcements go out as soon as the final discs start getting stamped. The copies of Skyrim are already printed and sitting in warehouses ready to ship. |

Pineapple Ferguson wrote on Oct 26, 2011, 15:31: Actually I thought it was a pretty funny preview, and in fact it showed that you CAN'T actually do anything you want. Immortal NPCS, respawning travel merchants, unlimited respawning guards. If anything that shows me that while the game will let you get away with a little mayhem, you can't truly conquer the world in your own way. And of course the numerous references to NPCs getting stuck in/on objects, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I am excited to play this game, just like all the others in the series, but I'm definitely going to wait for patches and mods. I figure by the time all the DLC has been released and bundled and the game is on sale, it'll be ready to play. Sounds like a plan. I'm gonna be diving into the bugs headfirst on 11/11/11. Can't resist. |

Don't forget to wipe! Pretty harsh! That was an entertaining read though, given the monotany of the other previews. |

They really went about this announcement the wrong way. This was basically like saying, "Hey guys, we know we messed up and we know we're still fixing the problems, but start paying us now anyway."
What they needed to do was really get the game to a point where it could be called a great game. THEN do a massive relaunch campaign where players would be offered another free month of this 2.0 version of the game.
The way things are, they are going to lose a lot of players and I don't see any motive for new players to come on board. |

| I love the "pick your own price" model and will put some money towards every humble bundle release--whether or not I actually have interest in the games--just to support it. Glad to see such great numbers in their sales figures. Hopefully that will encourage other companies to release their games using that same model. |
