It's just old age Blue..... welcome to club.... Excuse me one sec. GET THE HELL OFF MY LAWN YOU LITTLE BASTARDS!!!
Back to what I was saying, I notice I sleep less and get up earlier, and I know you are at least a year older than me as well. So this is just par for the course for us I think.
I think you should plan some big crazy party in LV for your 50th....

Yosemite Sam wrote on Nov 2, 2011, 17:16: The moronic sheep will probably eat this up... Personally I aviod eating while playing, greasy, salty fingers do not improve your game. Now if you want to come up with a real gamer food how about an intravenous drip
TBH, I am more interested in the reverse of that. I can finally get rid of my Pee Bottle from my WoW Raiding days...... |

Jeepers what a bad idea this is. I wish these marketing people that come up with these ideas would take a moment and really think about what they are making, and then have the balls to say "My Gawd! This idea is horrible! We'll just be wasting our investors money on some stupid buzz words we hope to capitalize on by making this!" I hope the guarantee is a 100% money-back. |

Do I think this is a concern for someone like OnLive?
Definitely! Their whole business model is built around bandwidth caps being free.
A website not long ago posted the bandwidth for OnLive, it's 3 gigs a hour. So a typical user here in Canada with Bell Canada as an ISP will hit that cap in 25 hours. Less than an hour a day playing a game on their service.
This is not a sustainable business model at all. |

We've had bandwidth caps in Canada for a while now, and they are not going away at all, in fact the opposite is occurring.
But there are a few ISPs that do not have caps, but at some point you will get a phone call from them if you download a terabyte a month.
I pay for 195 Gigs a month and hit it pretty much bang on every month.
I think you guys in the US are going to be in a rude awakening when the big ISPs start to enforce this more and more.
And yes, caps are full bandwidth not just downloads, I had a friend who was just cut off in Seattle from Comcast for uploading 500 Gigs of his MP3s to Amazon. |
