Every friend or family member that comes to my place asks me about my setup as if I must either be rich or some kind of engineer. (and they know I am neither) Most of them don't game like I do, but the few that do have all gone and bought similar setups when they find out how easy and cheap it can actually be.
Have you really tried to use a mouse down by your ass? Seriously? lol...
mind sharing a link? since this is so simple and awesome I'm sure a link or two would help us all out?

yeah DangerDog, I also bought it from "red cap" and also received 100% pixel perfect.
Saying they are not in the same league as Dell is fine (the base is sort of flimsy compared etc) but the screen image/quality is what we are looking at when we are working/gaming and I can say I LOVE this thing. for 300$ shipped, it's like a no brainer!

I bought one of those 27" korean monitors 2560x1440 on ebay for like $300 (included 2 day DHL shipping) and it was one of the best purchases I have ever made. Seriously the thing kicks ass, no idea why you all wouldn't jump- Had it over 6 months now, I guess time will tell if it holds up.
So yeah, not saying this gfx card is needed, but at those resolutions and my love of single gpu gaming(tried SLI on two occasions in the past and will never go back) I welcome high end cards.
(I currently have a gtx 570 and the 1.2gb of ram is probably on the limit considering my resolution)

If this is the year they announce Titan I know I'm sure as hell excited.
Could be announced next year though from the looks of things.

I bought a 570 for like 400
Am considering this because I game on a 27" 2560x1400 monitor and to be honest I don't think the 570 will be able to handle much longer considering it only has 1.2gb memory and high resolutions need lots of memory right?

I don't use traditional hard drive anymore, I just carry an external 1TB usb 3.0 drive for my movies/music and call it a day.
The speed from having windows/all programs and games on the ssd is amazing!
My only problem is my gaming ADD which has me with way too many games on the go so my 240GB is with 45gb free only.
Makes me think about getting 2 of them and putting them in raid-0 |

for any Starcraft 2 fans this marks the first time what I like to call "the real pro's" are competing. The koreans who take this shit seriously :p aka Flash, Jaedong etc who have been dominating SC:BW for so many years.

Being that I travel quite often and end up in various Caribbean countries for semi extended periods I subed to strongvpn.com to get around all the steam blocks, netflix etc. for $50 a year it is well worth it.
During the New York downtime a few days ago they sent me an email saying 30 days free at strongdns.com
I have never tried it but might be worth a try for you guys.

+1 - AC DT server still holds that special place in my heart; can't remember how many hours I spent in Heiromancers Halls, destroying umbris and killing any group of players who dared try to take my dungeon!!
It's a shame the bots ruined it, cuz game was pretty f*ckin amazing. |

One can only Dream !!!! That game still holds a place in my heart as the best MMO ever... I will admit I used the glitch to shoot out Magic faster (but then all the good players were doing it, so I never considered it "cheating") but damn the combat was fun!
A friend and I could go into dungeons or new areas with 4-5 people there and actually still be able to take them down (on DT server - the full pvp server), even if you were outnumbered and substantially lower level... THAT was awesome

After putting in the code and getting the price to $0, they ask you to provide billing address, then after clicking submit get the following error:
Payment Authorization Failed
considering its zero and there is no area to provide CC info I am lost as to my next move!
guess no Saboteur for me =( |
