And why the hell do you think that PS4 games wouldn't follow an identical scheme?

Really Xbone game pricing should be higher since it will be such a niche console compared to the PS4. Wonder if EA will stop supporting the Xbone when it bombs.

Don Mattrick is such a shameless piece of shit.

We're delivering thousands of dollars of value to people, so I think they're going to love it when they use it."

I'm not sure where this 'thousands' of dollars of value is coming from, it's either from 'prestige' of being the only person stupid enough to buy an Xbone...or from the free prostate exams every 24 hours.

I don't understand these anti-porn people. How can you not like sex?

Other than it's a little too available to young kids, there's nothing wrong with porn. That's the whole purpose of the internet these days.

I guess Microsoft thinks that Poland is filled with piracy, and they don't deserve any Xbox One goodness. I guess it will be slightly harder to get a launch PS4 in Poland due to the higher demand.

The gaming industry could stop crying poor if they cut out unnecessary expenses like 'booth babes'.

How about the government use the RICO act and go after all their assets, including overseas ones.

I'm ok with Xbox One users losing all their games, it serves them right for buying an Xbox One. It's not like their games will work once Xbox Two comes out anyways, as I'm sure Microsoft will shutdown the authentication servers.

Ubi, I have no interest in the division. Feel free to make it Xflop only to maximize your sales and ask Microsoft for 1 billion dollars.

Steam is a pretty close comparison to what Microsoft is trying to do with DRM on Xflop. It's all about DRM tying the game to specific hardware and having online activation required. They just went a little further without any lube.

I don't support Steam or the Xflop, both are too far offside of consumer rights that I'm not interested in either.

I hope nobody paid much to have those 'babes' at their booths. Not hot.

Now I know why the game industry is in trouble, they probably spent a ton of cash on the 'babes'

Just make everyone stand and snap some ceiling mounted harnesses to them for safety.

There was an airline in Europe working on the standing only plane. It will be here sooner than later.

I'm sure there will be a lot of Microsoft swag in those dumpsters.

It's amazing how the gaming industry is crying poor, and that's why they need to ram this intrusive DRM into us and try to eliminate used games. There's plenty of money coming in, they just can't manage their spending (similar to politicians).

If they want to get rid of some of the value games provide (such as reselling once done), then drop the prices substantially to make up for that lost value. Otherwise there's no consumer incentive. In a competitive business you can't successfully offer less value for more money. Good try though Microsoft.

The proper response to "they're not making the product I want" is to damage someone's property? Do you realize how absurd that is?

Never good to damage someone's property, but it's not like Microsoft cares about property rights either. So I'll call it even.

Obviously they were going for the Playstation Vita, and the rest just happened to be there All i can say is, leaving your bag unattended at the pool bar will result in it being stolen most of the time. His fault.

so Microsoft's strategy once again is an exit strategy. I can't emphasize that enough.

I'm not sure how tanking the value their console division before trying to sell it is a great exit strategy. They might as well have just shut it down if they were going to do that.

And shit like this damages our hobby, every single fuck up a bit more and a bit more.

Absolutely agree. Each of these types of incidents continues the impression that gamers live in their parents basement and are a bunch of pervs. Why is gaming perceived as a strange hobby? Guys like the one who works at Rare Inc make it that way.
