It's 5% in one month. That's pretty amazing. Granted, it's free, but they'll have half the market next summer if that rate keeps up.

That rate won't keep up, though I'm sure they wish it would. Maybe it's 5%, doesn't look like it from the graph it's even that much.

Looks like Windows 10 is not the success Microsoft was hoping for.

Not sure how 75M installs or whatever is not successful.

3-4% of OS installs isn't what I'd call success, especially with the nagware installed. You guys must be looking at a different graph than the one above the article. Add in it's "free-to-spy" and it's a flop of a product. Windows ME, Windows Vista, Windows 10, Zune - Microsoft 'success'.

Oh yeah, "You're a blight on the gene pool, do the rest of us a favour and cull yourself and your pals from it." is just being tons of fun.

Cutter's got a point on that one. The truth isn't always fun.

Looks like Windows 10 is not the success Microsoft was hoping for. Could be that a lot of users don't want to put spyware on their systems. Maybe at some point it will make it to Windows 8 levels.

I'll miss the content as I find movies are much better than TV shows in terms of quality viewing. I'm not interested in Netflix being the next HBO. That being said, if the content providers are too greedy, then Netflix can save the cash.

I'd like to see those savings passed onto subscribers though.

EA knows best - anticipating complaints about high ping servers, playing the worst map over and over again against players who have bought all weapon upgrades day one.

I already predicted this will make little to no difference for Hulu.

Although it appears to be an interesting option, what's the point when Hulu carries the past five episodes only of recent shows.

Ugh, again with Blue posting this SJW propaganda bullshit? Is he not aware of what a lying, thieving, morally bankrupt person this bitch is?

There's quite a few SJW posters around here, lots of catering to them around here. When I get tired of all the pro-SJW news, there are other sites to visit.

Too bad they're giving up, Diablo 3 isn't all that good and TL3 could have been much better.

I hope they have a lot of returns of the disc version to deal with.

98% sausage fest at Ashley Madison. That's a lot of allegedly fake new user accounts to create.

Perhaps they'll even be forced to offer an apology as punishment by some soft judge.

The kid was sentenced for writing a how-to guide on the internet for fucks sake.

He did a lot more than that. Another poster has covered that off.

Now he gets to go to grownup jail where he will be turned into a real criminal and a seriously damaged person instead of getting some real help

Well giving him the death penalty would resolve that issue, so not a problem.

Agreed, they should have stripped him of his citizenship for treason, along with his parents since he's a minor.

Nice to see the degree of empathy and understanding that is fostered by this community. You got kids?

I have no empathy for someone radicalizing teenagers (which he did) to kill me someday. Death penalty for him would be ok in my books.

Billionaire problems. No sympathy here, if he doesn't like it, I'll take the 2.5B off his hands.

Selling out to Microsoft for cash, what could go wrong?

Every comment IS about Star Citizen.

With the continued scope creep, there is nothing offtopic in the future when it comes to Star Citizen

Sadly ArsTechnica seems to be on a downhill slide lately.

They are a SJW site, and now their readers have moved into being supportive of terrorists.
