I like the "Extreme discounting below the published price on our website may be a clue" part. PC gaming is all about extreme discounting - that's Steam's model...

16 men to one woman seems about right for that type of site.

I'd love to see a new DDO.

Have to agree with you there. Age of Conan for me was great until I got past level 20ish. Then the content dried up. The best thing I got out of it was the soundtrack!

GOG has always been superior to Steam with the DRM free stance. Glad to see them put the boots to Steam even more.

The DRM loving publishers will eventually have to come kicking and screaming towards DRM free the more gamers put their money behind GOG.

I pure hate the new Eurogamer review system.

Eurogamer is a terrible site, there are superior and less corrupt gaming sites available.

They made the choice to die free. Works for them, it's cheaper on taxpayers as well. 'Fighting the system' entails risks.

Why would they? That'll be the motivating reason behind half the sales.

And the other half will be social media integration.

If Kotaku or Polygon "forgot" to mention something like how this was just over 3 weeks, GamerGate would be all over them for unethical journalism - and they'd be right. This is a pattern with OneAngryGamer.

You need to read the notes at the bottom of the pictures for the article. OneAngryGamer is being ethical again (unlike Kotaku/Polygon). The "Nov 6-26, 2014" sourcing seems to pretty clearly indicate the length of time, doesn't it?

I'm just not into FPS RPGs, so going to skip this. If it was Wasteland 3 or something isometric, they'd have my backing.

So 0.66% of Gamergate accounts were alleged harassers. Seems like it's lower than what the anti-gamergate side would be...

Even though the corrupt journalism gestapo doesn't want to admit it, Gamergate is about ethics in journalism.

If you like Action Movies, go see Mad Max. It was awesome.

Isn't this more of a chick flick with Mad Max as her sidekick/gimp? Seems like it's right up there with the all female Ghostbusters reboot.

Ageism is as much as problem in the game industry as it is everywhere else. Wonder if Kotaku has a bunch of 45+ staff members.

Might have to play this again for the third time. It's a fantastic game, one of the best from the last few years.

The Xbox can't handle 1080p-60fps in a lot of games, it shouldn't even be in the conversation.

You sound like Fox News, every tax dollar is wasted and burned.

Just because I believe that if the government had less tax money, they would waste less doesn't mean that all tax money is wasted. Most budget conscious consumers will decide what is their least useful spending when they have less money. Hopefully the government could operate in the same manner.

I think there are some worthy expenditures of tax money. There are more that are not, and there are plenty of examples.

25th Anniversary and Judgement Rites were pretty awesome adventure games. If you're a Star Trek fan and never played them before, it's worth giving them a spin.

I agree, they were very good games and had that Star Trek feel.

And what will Baddell do about Bellicheat and the Cheatriots? Not a damn thing.

Exactly. The NFL will never deal out real punishment (i.e. strip the owner of the franchise, ban Brady for life etc).

My guess is a one game pre-season suspension with pay for all involved.

One of the true games of the year (not an award show poser) gets a GOTY edition! I'll play it again for a third time later this year then.
