You won't be disappointed when you play it - it was so worth the wait!

So as a person that doesn't know much about the GW games, is it safe to say this is a PvP first, PvE second game?

The reason I ask is I love PvP, but in so many games, it's the after thought. While I enjoy my share of PvE, the longevity in the game (for me) is PvP.

Could anyone in BETA give your thoughts on it? I'd rather hear it from unbiased individuals than a magazine review which I tend to take with a grain of salt...

I really wanted to give the DayZ mod a shot, but too many games at the moment.

BTW: I think I read that the whole zombies (AI) running through walls is a limitation of the game engine and can't be fixed. Is that true?

It's unfortunate, but MMO's appear to be the last great bastion for PC exclusive titles. At least for AAA titles... I guess for that reason alone I'm hoping it is successful.

If I can get 3 months of gameplay out of any game, then I would chalk that up as a success IMO...

BTW: Cutter, your posts are becoming boring and predictable... time to turn the page.

Really? I didn't realize I was here to provide you entertainment. DOn't like my posts, don't read them or put me on ignore, jackass. Lord knows I have enough fo your ilk on ignore and now you're going there too.

w00t! I made the asshat angry!

Now give in to your nerd rage and feel the power of the dark side!

Oh, and I registered on 21-JUL-2011 - not sure where that falls in the scope of getting in early. Like I said, I still didn't get my email stating I could play, but I'm playing nonetheless. /shrug

Videos of the test version looked like crap. Why are people still interested in this.

Because as you probably figured out, we're all idiots unworthy of your respect or friendship. We deserve to be crushed under a cement truck and used as the mortar to build your pyramid so you can look down on us with scorn.

Well played, Sir... well played indeed.

Wow - lots of emotions here...

Personally, I'm fine with the persistent internet connection requirement. The only reason I stopped playing D1/D2 online was due to all of the hacking, duplication, etc.

As for the auction house situation, I'll reserve judgement till I get to actually see it for myself.

That being said, once all of the piss-n-vinegar settles down, you know you'll be buying it... no virtual soapbox stands the test of time.

This...

Generals & Zero Hour were the highlights to me - I didn't toy with the single player much, but the multiplayer is still some of the best fun (minus the optimization) I've had in the series.

I've been enjoying this game as well... Not as fast paced as most FPS games, but it still has it's moments...
