I simply can no longer afford £50 per game anymore. So I'll await for a complete product in a sale.
I'm also only opting for a single console solution coupled with my PC. That console will be PS4.. MS marketing really outdid themselves this time. Harness TEH POWUR OF TEH CLOUD Could'nt agree more, I usually get all consoles for their exclusives! but for the first time, I think I will pass on Microsoft and it's xbox one, What they have done for the past couples of years and most notably with this ''next gen console'' is a total disregard for PC Gamers. So I will most probably get the PS4 but not at launch ! |

I don't care about this either, but for other reasons, if it ever comes out for PC, the PC version is just an aftertought, thats the general moto with games nowadays, and it fuckng sucks. (sorry about the language)
Can't wait for star citizen a PC only game that will outshine anything next gen consoles can provide ! |

Well it sounds like you don't even know what Linux is.
Linux isn't one OS, hell it's not even an OS by itself. It's a collection of software with a kernel.. There are hundreds of distributions as heavy or light weight as you want.. Not one company or entity owns it.. If you don't like how one distribution does things you can switch to another. Google made their own OS (Android) around the Linux Kernel.
This does complicate gaming a bit though... This is the biggest problem of Linux, no Standardization at all ! A game running super well in Red Hat does'nt mean it'll be peachy in Unbuntu! same shit goes for drivers support why most hardware manufacturer does'nt give a crap about drivers for linux, too many damn different Distribution !
If there was a Standardization in the linux distribution, that would hurt MS alot ! (and of course I intend here to be bashed by LINUX advocate ! Not another Standardization post!) |

Ah well, for me as long as someone make the games that I love run on a OS, I will vote for them, if MS is not able to do that anymore, another OS will take up the torch. now if only hardware manufacturer can see this also and chug out Drivers to support the OS (ie: Linux)
I'd be running Linux for a long time if my games were all supported by it ! |

The base isn't asking for a MOBA from EA and it will flop, not because of EA, but because the MOBA sector is already spoken for, they are not asking for another. I totally agree, what they should of done, if a game more like Smite. Top down games like Lol or Dota is already saturated, gamers have extablished themselfs, and will not go onto another game to start the same thing all over again... to play the exact same game. |

It would be funny as hell if it used Unreal Engine instead of any implementation of id Tech
Also, didn't Carmack or some other id guy say some time ago that they will not outsource any of their IPs and work on their titles in-house only from now on?
That's from the PCgamer facebook page ''Wolfenstein: The New Order is due out this year, built with id Tech 5 by former Chronicles of Riddick devs'' |

/watched video: um....WOW! The actual game looks nothing like the video, there are a few leaked gameplay videos floating around, you're looking at a mocked up marketing video. I guess reactions like that justify the expenses and lengths they go to for these things though. Show people some visual whoopwhoop and they're ready to commit. The game does look good, not quite like Skyrim but it's a MMO so they can't do visuals like skyrim, unless they only want people with kick ass system been ale to play their game. walking and jumping really looks unnatural ATM, but its a beta so hopefully they will fix these things. (looting also sucks) |

I fracking hate DLC'S and a DLC for this crap of a game is really insulting !!! |

It's only saving grace, and the only real reason to play the game, "The Foundry" isn't even implemented yet.
For those who haven't read a damn thing about the game, "The Foundry" is an editing tool that will allow DM's to create their own dungeons and story's for other people to play through.
That is the only thing I can see giving this game any longevity and it's not even ready yet. What are you talking about, the foundry is implemented, I even started creating a dungeon yesterday ! |

Chill people ! I only said how easy it is, to make my point, my first PC I bought over 24 years ago, I knew nothing about pc, how do you think I learned DoS, by playing with it, did I screw up a few times, yes, but I learned by myself, (no google to help me at the time )
a 3 step thing even a casual should know how to do it! I do understand your point, and I do agree, Microsoft should of known better, Still either people got lazy, or scared to screw things up.

PC Manufacturers Say Windows 8 Has Driven Millions To Become Apple Users. Man I knew it was bad with casual users but that bad? Wow. Ironically most of the enthusiasts seem to have stayed with Windows 7 or figured out how to disable Dumbtro and made peace with Windows 8. I guess casual users just didn't find it very desirable, certainly not enough to stop seeking the Apple brand. It is so easy do disable Metro,
go in regedit
go to : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Double-click the key labeled: RPEnabled
then change the value from 1 to 0
and voila !!!
Dont even know why so many people are bitching about windows 8 its the same freaking os than windows 7 (when you reg edit Metro) |
