UT did, unless you set the weapon to centred or hidden.

Third-person games have reticules. Your projectiles move towards the reticule from the center of the camera, just like a first-person game.
Yeah a few games work like that, but in most TPS I've played, the crosshair is more of a rough estimate of where your shots will end up than anything reliable.
I've mostly found the origin of the shot comes from the character rather than the screen, often resulting in you hitting a wall etc when you're aiming just past it.

More BoI? Who could say no?

Slows down on my laptop too, even with the anti-aliasing (quality) on medium. I got used to it though.

Any PC gamer that buys this is a FOOL!

You all say you hate it but you know you'll buy it! (Sooner or later...)
Does it make you feel better to convince yourself of that?

It's not his machine. Trendy just seem to put out large patches very often. It is mildly annoying but rather that than not supporting it.

Tower defence does nothing for me either but DunDef (and to a lesser extent OMD) are quite different. Worth checking out even if you don't like the genre.

Interesting. If this turns out to be true it should be interesting to see what happens. Interesting times ahead.
Interesting post.

If it also made a decent HTPC I'd consider it.

Game is fantastic, a great throwback with very high quality level design. I thought I had grown out of platformers but this pulled me right back in.

Get Sonic Generations, a very pleasant surprise and a great game to boot.
I got that around the last Steam sale. Glad to hear it's good as I took a bit of a punt on it (yet to play, like most of my games >.<).

BTW, the Rayman demo is working for me now.

I seem to be having the opposite problem in that clicking on the "download demo" button does absolutely nothing. Restarting Steam doesn't help. Shame, want to try this.

What do they do if a freakish $20 million comes in?
Buy new workstations that they have to get in order to make the ultimate adventure game? Perhaps the stress of having to pay rent on their offices will so impinge the flow of creative juices that it will become essential to purchase new luxury offices (Ion Storm style) that they own outright? If it got that silly who could blame them?

That's not the impression Double Fine have been giving.
All money raised will go to make the game and documentary better.
They should be more upfront if only a percentage of the money raised will be spent on actually creating the game and doc (which I doubt).

Hmm, either you didn't read what I wrote or I'm missing something. It's late here, so always possible. ^^

I realise they make money from any sales. I'm just saying if everyone decided to put their money into the Kickstarter then there would be no sales, so no profit. An unlikely scenario of course but the greater number of adventure game fans that become contributors the less money they'll make.

edit: maybe if I'd said "If all the potential buyers of the game instead put their $15+ into the Kickstarter...".

If all the potential buyers of the game put their $15+ into the Kickstarter how would Double Fine make any money? I guess the market is bigger than the 60k that's currently contributed though. Still, they might be hoping people stop donating.
