I think FO:NV sold about as much as the best Fable did.
Creston Sure, but Obsidian got screwed with the Metacritic clause if memory serves. Having failed to reach an average of 85%, they got no bonuses. |

Yeah, unfortunately there's no point of using the cover system as you're always a bit exposed when using it. Personally, I like the fact that they're hard to distinguish. Besides, if you choose to persevere and continue playing, you'll get used to it. |

| I'm well aware of that. In fact I wish that they would do more of the forum posts (the production, art, programming, etc. ones). They are one of my favorite aspects of this project. |

Now.. to give a less stupid take on my initial comment. First, to save face ; I don't really know why I mixed up Action with Adventure... I suppose it was from looking at their Action Forums right before and not thinking this through. That being said, I am a bit disappointed by the frequency of the updates. It seems like there were more regular forum posts from the team earlier on. Sure, I'd rather have them concentrate on the game and deliver an excellent product in the end, but I was sort of expecting to see more on the process behind it all... considering that it was a huge part of the Kickstarter pitch. I guess I shouldn't complain. I've certainly gotten my money's worth with this project. |

| They fixed most of the bugs but the community isn't entirely dead ; a couple of servers manage to be full everyday. I'm still having a blast whenever I play, but it certainly isn't quite what was promised or what it should have been. |

And how do you know for certain that they planned to "Milk" money? Do you have evidence? I envy little 20 somethings like you, fresh out of high school and born into the 21st century thinking that everything is roses and rainbows.
Yes, companies are only interested in doing as the customer wishes and will never steal from or manipulate their customers. Oh how naive and simplistic your thought process is.
Gaming is more about money now than it has ever been. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence can see they did it to milk sales for all they were worth.
Next you're going to tell me EA didn't remove their games from steam to bump up sales of them on Origin. Of course, EA paid for that and had to re-up them on steam to placate the masses.
See, big companies do in fact love us!
Kids. Jesus.... |
