I work in IT distribution:

Today, 7 months past October 26th 2012:

Windows 7 sales: 18,000 / week
Windows 8 sales, less than a dozen.

you read it here folks. that is the truth. When Microsoft writes headlines that they sold 3 million units, blah blah blah, that's just selling to sit on store or warehouse shelves, they are not going to new customers. Windows 8, history repeats itself with Win Me. Sadly though, Win 9 will be more of the same, there is no turning back, they will dicate their way through things, as all top corporations do today.

I think Win 8.1 is a noteable effort on MS part, and needed, obviously, as they can see the reports I wrote above. Just make Win 8 touch an option. NO ONE HAS TOUCHSCREEN MONITORS, you IMBICILES AT REDMOND!

The entire gaming world that liked games such as Mirror's edge, Assassins Creed, will be playing Watch Dogs instead. Spend your resources elsewhere EA, your points won't matter much for ME2.

Their Diablo 3 failure sold like 12 million copies, so there's literally nobody at Blizzard who views it as a failure.

Creston

it's going to sell another 12 million this fall on the PS3. Everyone that bought the PC version will HAVE to find out the minute differences between the two.

rinse and repeat for XBoxOne and the PS4 next spring.

36 million copies, not bad at reselling a dead horse to the same owner hoping it will geeup eventually. everything strange happens to everyone once in their lifetimes, I guess this is Blizzards moment in history.

I use the "on-hood" camera anyway. The cockpit camera is waaay to restrictive with how much you can see out of it and is totally unrealistic and immersion breaking as a result. Anyone who has ever ridden in the front seat of a car knows exactly what Im talking about which makes it a complete nerd-rage non-issue if I ever saw one....

I agree perfectly, however, GT5 coupled with a PS3 eye-cam mounted on top of your steering wheel hud, in cockpit mode, is quite immersive. The view naturally shifts to where your head goes, and it's very smooth and natural. Top quick drivers are using this online with good results.

for me, the worse cam is when the cam shows the whole car from above, kids, please, never ever resort to driving your games this way.

Blizzard waffles on products all the time, this isn't really anything new and speaks more to them actually giving a shit. Would people prefer they just shit things out like EA? Sheesh.

Millions more are playing Simcity today, than Diablo
EA is supporting and patching Simcity a million times over, compared to what Blizzard has done to Diablo 3, that is so shameful and funny at the same time, I am smiling ear to ear at that one.
Tens of Millions will be buying the Sims4, a year from now.
Hundreds of Millions will be made, from BattleField 4 this year
EA will be the first videogame empire to have grossed a trillion dollars.

Apparently, shit is perfectly edible!

47. Re: Blizzard's Unannounced MMOG Reset and Delayed? May 29, 2013, 10:58 Optional nickname

The pigs at Blizzard and Activision looked at the current state of Titan, and said, this isn't profitable. Now that Microsoft paved the way for Kinect Spy services 2.0 into hundreds of millions of homes, the Bobby's at Blizzard started a new page, popped the marker, and drew a large rectangle on their Flowchart, that now says RMAH 2.0 , tied in with exploiting new possibilities, and will design the new engine around this. Once that engine is in place, and the team of 200 lawyers sign it, and pass it, and Google lends a building block of cluster servers operating off of quantum computing, they will then skin some art around it, and release it to the masses, where they will be divided, and brainwashed, and oblivious, and naive, just as they are today, with Diablo 3.

Enjoy your Blizzcons, you SPINELESS rejects.

so long Blizzard, it's been emotional.

yay... A new sad ass cookie cutter drift game from NFS. Wake me up when someone makes a good open world racer. I want GT5 handling on NFS:MW1 style game play. Open world with police, street racing, and events to drive to. If NFS had stuck to it's roots we would be there already.

GT6 on PS3 this coming winter 2013. Free demo this July. Please do give it a try, as GT5 was not only the best car game I've ever driven, but perhaps the most immersive video game period.

Learn the Nurburgring Nordschleife track, it is so relaxing to unwind so many cars available in the game, that react to the most subtle driving input, in a fantastic way that real cars do. GT6 is upping the Ante, and breathing extended life into the PS3 for years to come.

Sorry MS, but I think you will feel the wrath of Nintendo WiiU, and lose hundreds of millions on XBox omg11!!one!! , and Windows 8 combined. Karma is a bitch sometimes, so deal with it. your new entertainment system is totally unwelcomed in my world, and the world of many many more. AMD is smiling today.

The best NFS game for me, was Test Drive, on the Commodore Amiga. It went all downhill ever since. Well, I will give honorable mention to the first ever NFS High Stakes, and Porsche Unleashed. May all you fast and furious ricers burn in hell, you only know how to lodge your cars into residential bedroom walls.

I'll be playing GT6 on the PS3 (they're extending the life out of the PS3!!!!) until the next best car sim is made for the PS4. Xbox is for Halo-heads and EA Sports drones, I'm not one of them. Long live the PC and MS Windows 7.

Time to tighten the noose on the remaining survivors that still play Diablo3, to this day. The only time I've ever logged into D3 was to see if my account wasn't banned for reasons of: not having played since 1.03

So instead of letting the ACTUAL DICE make a Battlefront game.... They rename the shitty studio that made Medal of Honor to DICE LA and hand THEM the Star Wars franchise?

They've already blown it and they haven't even started making a game yet.

"Welp, MOH was such a financial disaster and a failure at retail that we had to cancel the MOH series entirely... We should just let them make a Star Wars game" Brilliant!

It is brilliant. It's the same target audience. EA will earn a Billion dollars in the next 2 quarters. Done. moving right along. Fix Simcity, kthx.

How does a dead horse blow out its candles? nnneeeieieieiggghhhh...fffff..zzzzzzzzzzzz ,

May your souls never be trapped, oh CEO's behind this failed experiment called Diablo3. cd-Coaster of the Millenium.

I played some 8 weeks of the game at launch, but quicly got discouraged when I learned of the fixed algorithms that drive the engine to this carrot-on-a-stick pay-to-brag game. Most spineless fanbois appear to call this 'RNG'. It's a shame they know no logic or common sense. I hope they're not banking on winning the McDonald's McNopoly contest anytime soon either.

Happy 15th Anniversary, Gran-Turismo. That is where my best wishes will be sent. To a creator with vision, and integrity.

News Comments > Diablo III Auction House Foul-up
9. Re: Diablo III Auction House Foul-up May 8, 2013, 10:20 Optional nickname

Has anyone read the Diablo forums on battle.net and on Reddit subforums lately? It is clear as high waters in hell, that Blizzard staff is actually writing up their own posts of topics, that gives the peons something to talk about to keep this whole audience of degenerates distracted. The evilness of corporate policies of our videogame industry this decade, has seeped deep into Diablo 3, such a crying shame, but those are not my tears.

I'm playing Simcity 2013, it's a nice casual game for me, and EA is supporting that game, (now onto patch 3.0) with constant communication between dev script writers and the fans.

EA, folks, we know EA, right? I think they're turning on a new leaf, which leaves much to be said about Blizzard and Activision how they kick their fans in the nuts every single day to keep them subdued. How god damn embarassing it must be for the folks behind the Diablo Franchise. I hope my post here makes it to Michael Morhaime diary entry, titled as; his life's largest fail

I burned my Diablo 3 CE box in a bonfire this last weekend for my Spring Cleaning. I then swept up those embers and ashes, to separate them from the earth which they burned on, not to contaminate precious soil.

I really enjoyed Defense Grid 1, never replayed it much, but it held me non-stop until I finished it. Looking Fwd to DF2. Thanks blues for reminding me about that game, I remember, or I thought, that this sequel was supposed to be released already last year? Devs probably partied hard with all that Kickstarter money, woke up with a hangover, and said, oh **** we need to code DF2!

Just like in their battlenet forums and reddit subforum, All these tickets have been sold out to Blizzard Moderators pretending to be the brainless yes-men fanbois!

Fact: EA , (EA! Guys, we're talking about EA!!!) ==> has, and is actively supporting their new game of Simcity, in the first month of release, far more than Blizzard ever has or will ever do, in the course of this whole year since D3 was released!

What an embarassment of epic proportions that must be!

so long, Blizztards.

I might go out there and scalp some T-Shirts with printed words: EA +1, Blizzard -1
