I guess its a casual/dumb down version of Demon's Souls/Dark Souls

It caters to the middle eastern populace, go to any Futureshop, and when this game is on demo, you will always see people from that background playing this game. There is a market niche for most any game, can't please em all. Like MoP, 3 Billion copies sold in Asia from day 1.

not being racist, nor stereotypical, its business today.

Blizzard, it's no wonder, your current crop of games are more dumbed down than Windows 8 UI. Good riddance to both of you.

I anticipate that within two weeks, complaints will begin about the loot quality drops in TL2, and the ability to go "buy out" the RNG will be sorely missed.

That will not happen and I wager an eBet.

Ditto, ALL IN (slides entire worth of D3 RMAH cash money bags into the pot)

It really irritates me, and hurts me to know how Blizzard has the whole lot of you hanging by that carrot on a stick.

Blizzard will stop at NOTHING to continue to press on with the RMAH spine, that is the backbone of Diablo 3. Nata, Niet. They have to continue, they have done so with the first 4 patches, they continue to slap you in the face with no legendaries on the ground, not even with a base of %308MF like I currently have.

It is insulting, and hurtful, because we loved Diablo 1 and 2. Blizzard came , and went. Karma is going to be a bitch for them

the respectable silence, over at Runic, not to bash D3, AND deliver such awesomeness with TL2, speaks Volumes! This is a pivotal moment in ARPG history, David and Goliath, in the flesh, my friends.

to boot, I just know, TL2 will have epic DLC , and stellar updates, and rewarding style, far far more than Blizzard's current nightmare of a condescending experience ever will be.

Good on you, Runic. Unbelieveable really. Well done. Long live your dev team, & personnel in charge,

I think I'll send you guys a box full of polish donuts and pierogis.

Shame shame on you Blizzard, may your RMAH eat you from within in hell. But you know, in all fairness, the concept of asking for extra money to award more in the game, is ok, but the way it was done with Diablo 3, it is just really insulting to gamers that have integrity and principle.

Having played the first 40 minutes of this game, I have to say Runic, all my negative thoughts of TL1 are forgiven, TL2 is such an awesome sequel, I am loving everything so far, It turned my Diablo 3 Depression, into TL2 Bliss. I will take it slow, because I haven't paused to read every loot I find (every minute) to see how it awesomely changes my Engineer's abilities.

Extremely polished, Extremely worth not $20, but $60.

The musical Soundtrack is so effing beautiful, it is actually overpowering to this cartoony like game, to a point, but I shall let it play in TL2, and never ever bring that into Diablo3, shame on those that consider this.

the isometric view is zoomed out a touch at 1080p, but it is a very welcomed change, albeit the small monster appearance, I haven't seen the rest, but so far they looked a little translucent

I am about to post a picture of MY Torchlight, it will be my D3 CE BOX Pierced through a Bamboo Poletip, set on fire.

edit: Forgot to say my favorite part, this game is like Dungeon Seige 1 , but so much better! THANK YOU FOR THIS!

It's blatantly obvious Gabe wants his new console out, with Steambox on all media devices, including digital signage, to be ready, to lay out this new foundation, before introducing HL3 to all that , hell why not stop there and peg it to models wearing Google Glass eyewear and watch them trip on the catwalk runway, lol.

Then Gabe will have 900 Billion Dollars to finally buy EA and dissolve it to Kingdom Come.

/Valve Business plan 2013© NDA

serious business , the gaming industry, it will be a bloodsport come late this decade.

What's next? I expect nothing less, other than to see Activision Investors jump ship, seeing how no one with a brain would ever buy their games again, oh wait, nvm, apparantly there are millions of brainless people still supporting and playing Diablo3 to this day, sigh... I tried.

Here is high hopes, that the Kickstarter Venture takes off into high gear, and dethrones the likes of Blizzard and EA, once and for all. Good riddance, bean counting publishers.

And this appear offline nonsense, it is nothing but to help Blizzard investors sleep well at night, knowing that perhaps it is people choosing to set themselves as offline, rather than simply proving that NO ONE IS ACTUALLY PLAYING THIS DEFUNCT GAME ANYMORE since some time now.

Poor AMD, but we're behind you, just keep Intel greasing you to stay competitive, don't grow too big, focus on some mainstream things, make PC's cool to upgrade again, like you used to do with the K6-2 , don't copy Intel on your products, sign with Sony or other ... hey, here's an idea, apparently Valve is looking to make their own Hardware Console, go make their CPU!! focus on the gamer and enthusiast market, take your losses now, restructure, lay some off, shit happens, but just don't dissappear.

Or just sell yourself to China, and forever hold your peace.

TL2 will have to wait, and besides, it will be better 2 or 3 patches in.
I never played BL1, but I will have to give this one a go.
Diablo 3, well, it will float on in my sewage system, until some fish make it a home when it sinks to the bottom of some polluted lake.

Looking very forward to replaying Baldurs Gate EE, and soon to have Generals2, and Simcity 5. And Wii U SMB.

The previous WHQL drivers were 160MB, these are 175MB. A 15MB increase is hardly doubling in size.

It's probably some conspiracy!!!!!!!!

It must be that watermarking system the USA Homeland of Security picked up on from Blizzard Entertainment. probably now incorporated into Nvidia Kernel. $1,000 to the first one that reverse engineers it!

seriously, you'd think that by removing Aero, and simply drawing large boxes that I can mimic on my etch-a-sketch, the drivers should have fit onto a 720K floppy.

PoE is about as shallow as games come. Diablo 1 has more depth and variety.

PC Gamers have been spoiled, emotionally, satisfyingly, with Diablo 1 and 2. These same gamers are being tortured mentally and spiritually, now with Diablo 3. Unfortunately, having played 1 and 2, we long and wish for a great successor to that original franchise. Here is hoping PoE will be able to change its engine along the way. but unfortunately, we have had Diablo1, we all played it, and now there is nothing that will ever top that.

Diablo 3 needs to die a horrible death, and I urge all gamers of today to boycott that corporate lab experiment. I say this because having played many games over the years, this current iteration is absolutely detremental to anyone with a gut and a brain, it is an absolute insult, as to how the AI algorithm in that game, acts as a main water tap, in the hands of some douchebags at Blizzard mission control. I could talk till I'm blue in the face about how everything is horribly wrong with Diablo3, but the problem is it's fucking Diablo! and we all wish it will be like D1 and D2, and we are in denial, I say we, those that still play it. be strong people, abondon ship, and just think of good memories of D1 and D2.

1.2 million raised from kickstarter, that's pretty beans, and here is hoping many more will join such ventures, and topple giants such as EA, UBI, and Blizzard, but don't become like them in the long haul.

PC gaming, we are riding a very very defunct wave right now, let it pass, allow the shitstorms to settle, and hope for new seeds to bring us new great games.

Steam gets consolized. Guess all we'll get from Valve from now on is crappy console ports.

Knowing Valve, they will cater to the PC market, so as long as they still exist, which they do. They are also going full steam ahead to get their products on TV, for family interactiveness, and I'm all for those games, like Rockband, etc.

Knowing the likes of EA however, they totally abandoned the PC market years ago, and have targeted couch potatoes.

I said this before, and I'll ask this again,

dear Valve, Gabe,

please make the next greatest and immersive simulator, i.e car racing game, make it televised, it's all good, but do make your own hardware for it, and smash through both Sony (GT5) and Microsoft (Forza), and you will get much much success with it. thanks!

*Applies palm to face*

So. 5 years of development (around 10 if you go all the way back to Blizzard North) and you're still fucking trying to come up with new game systems and subsystems.

I guess 4.5 of those years were spent refining the RMAH. Funny how *that* system more or less is fine. It's just the actual, you know, GAME that requires monthly overhauls and nerfs.

F**k those losers.

Blizz pisses me off to no end on their constant fucking with the game. First, letís nerf, IAS, then lets nerf resistances. Then letís add better Legendaries to the game making existing ones useless. Adding better stats was good, but the drop rates on this gear is astronomicaly low. That really pissed me off; they couldnít even adjust current weapon and gear to match. Letís just toss out all the old and add new.

Sounds like to me this was nothing but a plan from the start to get people to buy the newer gear. Now CC is getting wacked too. Next it will be Crit. Then they will make a change to make legendaries even better than they are now.

Blizz just canít keep their mitts off the game to actually make it better. Itís all about nerfing it to no end and making it worst. They are almost as bad and Lucas and his content fucking with Star Wars.

Just two more weeks and TL2.

"Blizz pisses me off to no end on their constant fucking..."

clearly, what pisses ME off more than anything, is there are still over 19 million fucking losers playing this fucking game developed by that fucking loser.

clearly , Blizzard has won. ask yourselves, or ourselves, why are we supporting them? change begins from within, people.

As much as I enjoyed the single player campaign of Starcraft2, as I was obliterating anything Zerg on the screen, sadly, and frustratingly, I couldn't tell the difference between one unit to the next, and their base structures, all a brown mish mash of poorly drawn art. For this alone, well actually, not alone, for Diablo 3 is the absolute last product I will ever have bought from Blizzard. Can't wait for Generals 2, as well as Valves' new gaming hardware platform, PS4, and yes, even the new Simcity.
