Was it delayed much? I don't feel like I had to wait long. Maybe I'm just used to it. |

Watercooling is for the overclocking subculture of hardware enthusiasts not the mainstream pc gamers.
I think real watercooling is, but they sell kits now that are no harder to install than a regular CPU fan/heatsink. Although I don't know how you define "mainstream" pc gamers, so perhaps you would think even that was beyond what they would do. |

I just read the whole thing as a long-winded version of "the game will have great graphics that far exceed what a console can do."
Crytek, if you want to throw some marketing bucks my way, I can come up with more. |

No one should. Has Ken Levine put out a dud yet? I know he did Thief, System Shock 1 and 2 and BioShock and those were all really great.
Granted, watching the trailer makes me wonder if the actual game part can hold up, but it seems his track record is really good so far unless I'm forgetting some games.
Maybe the lousy ones fade away
That's an interesting question! And while wikipedia isn't always the most accurate, it mentions he worked on a few games I either wasn't aware he did, or forgot about:
System Shock 2: lead writer and designer Tribes: Vengeance : writer SWAT 4 : executive producer
I thought Tribes Vengeance was pretty good. Never heard of the other one, though. |

Most hardcore D2 players sure as shit aint playing D3, and you know I know where they are... ::)) I wasn't aware you knew all the hard-core D2 players personally. That's impressive! |

It barely has links, other than character names. It's a dumbed down mindless explosion fest. I've watched most star trek shows (never saw enterprise) and all the movies, but I wouldn't say I was a rabid fan. I don't even particularly remember the 2009 movie all that well other than it had time travel and young star trek characters (and that I enjoyed it.) What specifically did they destroy? I'm not trying to argue; I'm just curious. |

While this has a good chance of being true, there are several movies of games that are pretty good. Same with games of movies. There are also a lot of them that suck, but I wanna dispel the idea that they all do. I'm not really sure you can dispel an opinion, but ok. |

Maybe DF was trying to get what they could.

There's definitely something about it that's compelling. I've played a bunch more, and there are a few interesting bits to it, but the combat is so... clunky, it's very off-putting...
But I'm still trying to 'give it a chance', and I got my Shadow to 21 or so, and now that I have cleave (Which is Strength, as opposed to my Shadow that is the other two), I'm enjoying using that.
I do like DoTs though, so Viper Strike (melee DoT, stacked up to 4 times) and the fire trap (ranged, AOE DoT) are what I mainly have been using, but again, clunky... Especially switching targets...
I'm not sure if it's just an animation thing that so many people have complained about with some games (that I never had an issue with), or it's just timing on attacks/switching targets, etc... I've heard that more attack speed helps, but only so much as to make the awkward parts a bit shorter.
-Alamar I felt the same way...the combat feels off. Say what you want about D3 but they nailed the bad ass killing creatures part. |

The game is ruined, and too late now for patches and stuff. Because it's news about a game and this is a gaming news site? |
