Iím sure they will find a way to blame piracy for a 25 percent loss in sales. I didnít buy it cause I am not supporting Origin.

I guess stealing the game and not buying it doesn't effect the numbers...

Well I just got told my religion (I call it relationship with my creator) was fake. How is that cool? You want to say that it is ok to bring homosexuality into a gaming site, yet not allow me to speak? I do not think so... hypocritical to say the least...

How many of them have to worry about themselves because of the fact that another gay one of them tied to lamppost, beaten, burned and killed in public only 3 days ago? And this wasn't the first or last time it will happen, just because they were gay?

Horrible things happen to blacks, whites, Asians, Hindus, to Muslims, Christians, Jews, atheists, to heterosexuals, to everybody every single day. Gays are not special. No one should have to suffer such things, but it's a sad fact of life and human nature that they do and will. We all wish we could end the suffering wrought by evil people - any decent person would, but crying about some stupid, harmless thing some goofball said won't help one bit.

And please don't try to infer that his speech can be considered "inflammatory"; that's just an insultingly stupid notion, just as it was when people suggested it about some goofy developer naming an achievement "Stupid whore" or something.

Well said, Prez.

Christianphobes!

This has nothing to do with religion. Please don't try to drag religion in as some kinda false-leverage to the subject at hand.

Sorry, you just dragged homosexuality into my gaming site...Now it has everything to do with Christ. Like I said, nature itself is also witness...

Place 100,000 gay men (or women) on an island with NO access to adoption or IVF and that group of citizens will be dead and gone in around 50 years. No way to procreate you see.

The same thing could be said about placing 100 heterosexual men (or women) on an island. It's also a point that serves no purpose.

Nice twist, but no matter how you slice it... God and nature did not intend homosexuality. You do not have to believe in God, even though the evidence within impartial science is mounting in favor of a creator, but nature speaks for itself.

Ohhh yes, we cannot disagree with people's views anymore and get away with it. You know what, I am a Christian, we get bashed a lot as well. Yup, but I would not call it hate speech. For example, if someone kills a christian, they should be charged for murder. We start adding all this other bs to the mix and you will see homosexuals getting locked up for speaking their mind against Christians. I am not for hate speech regulation because guess who defines what hate speech is? You guessed it...the government and states...What exactly is hate speech? The bible and nature says homosexuality is wrong...Does that mean I cannot believe and have religious freedoms any longer? I am all for everyone being able to speak their mind. That includes the Christian, the muslim, etc...

oh...where are the WOw is dead crowd? Oo Just stating that I told you so...Blizzard will keep supporting Wow until Titan takes over and even then they might keep Wow running. I will put this in numbers for you...Wow could lose 90% of subs and still be more popular than any of its competition. Now sit and think about that one...

I will say this. I cannot say too much, but I will hint towards the truth. The reason for the change of heart is not the outcry of lack of release in other countries. Rather, the world wide launch would mean more people would buy it before they hear the reviews that will come out shortly after release (or the NDA is lifted). That is all what I am going to say. There is no control with IE. Unless I am missing it, I have to go all the way over to the right to hit the home button then all the way left to go back and forward? Might not be a big deal with a small monitor, but when you have widescreen and gaming size monitor it can be a pain. Oo

11. Re: Oct 10, 2011, 04:37 AnointedSword

Man I would love all major developers to go online only. This will have a positive impact throughout the gaming industry. It might make some of you get educated about game design and make some awesome single player and multiplayer games. Then maybe you guys will feel what it is like when someone steals from you (pirating).

I hear a lot of people talking about community here. How do you feel if the community was on your servers and you only sold half those numbers? So now you are stuck with people stealing, hacking and God knows what on servers that your evil corporation pays for.

*Disclaimer: I am not talking to everyone*

Maybe instead of getting offended we should listen to the man's words. The bottom line is you are not helping anyone when you pirate a game. Not even yourself.

What is the number one pirated platform and do not give me any of this well all platforms are pirated BS. Keep pirating games, you are only shooting yourselves in the foot. I have said this for years, you reap what you sow.The bottom line is if you do not buy the game you like playing they have no record of sales. There you have it... Hate to tell you that I told you so...
