Marketing is such a joke these days. These CGI trailers do not come cheap, and it cost way more to make one than to simply piece together 5 minutes of edited gameplay footage.

Seems kind of a slap in the face to MGS fans.. but as I said, I don't know much about the story Nope, all the MGS games have had over the top anime stories, and although the stealth mechanics are excellent it's not really grounded in reality in any way. |

Blocking ads and allowing video downloads, however... that's pretty ballsy by Microsoft. Imagine if this game was developed for PS4 and Nextbox, and how much more potential it could have had. What if you could go inside individual buildings (like a stock exchange or police headquarters) and hack all the computers and cause mayhem from there? Or what about a news network building, and you could spread propaganda through hacked news stations? And as a result, all the citizens AI would be tweaked, including police AI. I know this is not possible on this current generation and it's sad they had to limit their gameplay because of obsolete hardware.
Still, I am looking forward to this regardless. |
