Ok? Is it based on the clearly better The Dark Project story?

Good questions. I certainly hope so.....

Yeah, DayZ-SA has been a major disappointment. They should have started over with a whole new engine, as the game is still 'really' clunky, and always will be clunky! You should be able to open cabinets, closets, drawers, etc. That is one of the many things I like about 7DTD.

Maybe we can buy into an 'Alpha Release' and have a game to play that they may never finish.

"...not blinded and limited by a standard good/evil system."

As if people don't already have a blurred sense of responsibility for thier actions, someone is now making a game with the express point of teaching that there should be no consequences for acts of violence.

Why don't we just start making games where the object is to rape women, or abduct and molest children? No consequences, right? No good or evil, right? No difference whatsoever... right?

Right.

And people think climate change is a problem?

... a great lesson in bargain hunting, as well as the benefits of home-cooking, as that's comparable to the price of a crappy burger at a fast-food place.

Nicely done Blue. With home-cooking you pretty much know what you're eating and what is in it. Weather it is a fast food place or an upscale restaurant, I've become more and more leery of what I'm eating; what ingredients/fillers are they using to improve their bottom line?

Some cool stuff NASA is looking at. Stuff I thought was most interesting:

- Solar wind spacecraft.
- photon time-of-flight imaging to look inside moon caves for which there's no LoS.
- The “Aragoscope” disk to cheaply boost telescope resolution

Yeah, it really is fascinating stuff.

I just finished watching "How the Universe Works" on Netflix again, and it never gets boring. What they know now, although a lot of it is still theory, is mind boggling. I find it interesting how they now call it 'The Bing Bang' in lieu of 'The Big Bang Theory', as they know so much more now.

One of my friends pre-ordered this game and asked if I was going to, but I reminded him I don't pre-order games anymore. So, when I was visiting him recently, he spent about a half hour or so showing me the game (menus, set-ups, UI, gameplay, mechanics, etc.), almost trying to convince me to buy it too. It looked okay, but watching him play pretty much confirmed my original take on the game as being no more than just another CoD game with parkour and mechs thrown in, and becoming mundane very quickly.

It is admirable that Respawn Entertainment 'tried' to come up with something new and fresh, but in the end it is nothing more than a standard overused formula (CoD) with a few extra ingredients thrown in (mechs and parkour), and called 'new'. IMHO I think it was overhyped, and I'm not really missing all that much by passing on it. /shrug

Bullshit. Bf3 had a shit launch, bf4 was worse, and hardline is a glorifyed mod that come across as a low end mod that even with 3 years and the base bf4 still has tons of issues.

My thoughts exactly. Is it safe to say that their BF4 Sales are low in comparison to BF3 Sales? I think more and more people are tired of the BS and finally voting with their wallet.

But are there doping tests, and will you be able to spend all your R&D money on ways to have your guys not get caught for having 287% pure testosterone blood?

I look forward to watching Le Tour de France every year, but it is just a shame the sport became so plagued with doping. Just to keep the same competitive edge as the cheats that were doping, other riders felt the need to drink the Kool-Aid too. Nevertheless, they are still tremendous athletes.

Anyone play/watch this?

I DVR'd the 'Season 1 Marathon' a few weeks ago and have been watching those episodes. The show has potential, but it is pretty weak in some areas: Acting, dialogue, continuity, etc. It hasn't really grabbed me like other series have, but the jury is still out; I told myself I'd at least finish season 1 and then decide from there.

If you haven't watched Continuum, I highly recommend that; it gets better with each season...intelligent writing. Season 1 & 2 is available on Netflix.
