In the hopes that I don't have to eat my words...again...I'm gonna say that they'll probably let this franchise rest for a while now, thank god...You'll probably see it again in a few years back in WW2 or maybe even Nam, depending on what way the market leans. I'll just sit here and play the originals, when MoH meant kick-ass WW2 shooter... *breaks open the War Chest* =-Rigs-= Yeah, Allied Assault is a tough one to compete with. After Medal of Honor (2010), WarFighter was definitely 'not' on my new game purchase list, as I planned on waiting 9 to 12 months to grab it off of Amazon for $10 bucks or so.
In regards to Medal of Honor 2010; I didn't like the SP too much first time playing it, but some one here on Blue's posted that it is a 'Story' and that you have to play it that way and as its own game (not comparing to other games). Going about it that way, I did enjoy it more the second time around, but not sure if it would be enough for a 3rd play through....

Some of you posted that you really liked it, but needed to go back and finish it.........it couldn't have been all that good if you weren't inspired to finish it.; I certainly wasn't. Just a thought...... You see my games list? I rarely finish games in a timely manner. I have video game ADD. You're crazy man! Doesn't it stress you Out having that many unfinished games? How do you sleep at night?

Parias wrote on Dec 12, 2012, 11:42: Have they fixed the Complete mod for CoP yet? I was all excited to dive right into it, but I heard that particular variant (unlike the one for the other two games) is hideously broken and the developer abandoned it. This sort of mothballed my drive to get into CoP (which is still outstanding on my to-play list), because I just didn't feel like throwing away an entire day trying to figure out how to get a bunch of different mods working when "Complete" usually makes it so easy. About a year ago, or less, I installed CoP, and then the 'Complete Mod' right after. I don't recall there being any issues installing the mod, or playing it. I've played 'very' little of CoP so far; maybe 30 minutes, and in that short play time the game looked great, sounded great, and seemed to play well overall. Maybe I didn't get into the game far enough to uncover any breaks or bugs.
Prez has more up-to-date info on CoP Complete Mod in his post below.....I'll have to go check my version now to ensure I have the latest too. Thanks Prez.

Fantastic games, though (except CS). I don't see where all the hate on CoP came from when it was probably my favorite. ShoC had such a rocky launch and a lot of cut corners about it while CoP smoothed over plenty of the rough game design points and introduced some fun new zones (way better than those of CS). Yeah, CS was meh. I'm sure you are aware of it, but if not, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is best played with the 'Complete' Mod, and it is available for all three games. Somebody here on Blue's News posted the info and link some time ago, but I don't remember who it was. Anyway, it is supposed to hold true to the original art styles and story, but I don't know if it does, as I've only played SoC and CS with the 'Complete' mod. It looks really good, plays well, and is worth checking out for anyone that isn't familiar with the mod. Good hunting!

This is good news if they work on finishing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. II, and it is followed through correctly and held true to the original. Other than what is posted, I don't anything about bitComposer Entertainment; is anyone here familiar with them and/or think they can hold true to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series? Just curious.....
I've played SOC & CS through, but I still have to finish COP, as I am 'maybe' 7% into it.

Foil hat, or no foil hat, it is another gimmicky marketing ploy to gather information about your system specs. Yes, Steam gathers that information too.

Thanks for posting this article Blue, as I thought it was just me becoming annoyed by Adobe Flash in my older years. I have come to dislike Adobe Flash more and more over the past couple/few years, and with this new bloatware updater, it was pretty much the nail in the coffin. At this point, I would love for his closing statement to come true...... |

I hooked up an old HDD the other day and Quake2 was backed up on it, so I pulled it over to my current HDD and fired it up.....meh. I agree with you NIN, I still like Q1 better, both from a SP and MP aspect. However, just like with Quake 1, the expansion packs (The Reckoning and Ground Zero) were more enjoyable than the vanilla.

If you need bright young minds it's the best place to be. So many startups are there (due to major financial incentives allowing it, as well as the talent pool) and companies such as Macy's, Diageo, etc., have moved significant operational areas there to capture the talent base.
But yeah, I don't see Paradox really needing that talent base. I'll definitely keep an eye on their Careers page, though. Getting back to NYC from the midwest has become top priority. Yeah, if I was filthy rich (i'm just filthy ), I'd love to have a vacation place in the Upper East Side.

Yes, I agree, Damian Lewis and Claire Danes are solid, and Mandy Patinkin (Saul) is a solid character/actor as well.

So far I like this season of The Walking Dead much more than last season. Last season was okay, but some of episodes were too slow with too much whining, and other episodes were just silly with them hanging out the window of a moving vehicle blowing-off the heads of zombies from 25+ yards away with shotguns….yeah, okay!
I just hope the rivalries that formulated so far this season don’t play out in the same ridiculous manner… |

WOW! That has been 12 years ago already? Yikes! We must be having too much fun around here at Blue's News. I remember being interested in Amen, and was bummed when I read here at Blue's News that it was canceled.
Well, in regards to the resurrection of the game with CONSORTIUM, I'm not liking the cartoon art style, so I'm no longer excited.
Here is the original Amen: The Awakening
