News Comments > No Adult Games on Windows 8 Marketplace

And we have the first hints of MS trying to control the market. Sure, it is restricted to only their app store but does anyone doubt that if Win8 does well they'll extend this control to everything else in the OS? I sure don't doubt it.

For the sake of open computing Win8 must fail and truth be told, the market penetration of Win8 apparently is below expectations.

This is a bloody fun game. If you enjoy class-based games with a twist and a lot of fun, get this one. Perfect to spend a couple of hours once in a while having tons of fun.

Kalypso only move now is to offer refunds. They knew this game was broken when it released, now it is their responsibility to offer refunds for a game that will never be fixed and isn't playable.

Yes, because obviously success is the biggest factor in determining a person's worth. Jesus people write some dumb shit.

It's rattlehead. Dumb is in his genes.

Seems to be that being one of the main actors in Babylon 5 is bad for your health. A bunch of those actors have died over the years since it ended.

Richard Biggs Died 2004 (Played Dr. Franklin)
Andreas Katsulas Died 2006 (Played G'Kar)
Jeff Conaway Died 2011 (Played Zack Allan)
and now
Michael O'Hare Died 2012 (Played Cmdr. Sinclair)

Oh man I wasn't aware of this, I knew about Biggs but nobody else. Damn.

Right, there was so much strategy in WWI. What a reach.

Actually, yes there was. The idea that WWI was a trench warfare is only partly right. WWI began as a very fluid war pretty much like all of WWII and at the later stages of WWI that fluidity happened again.

In fact the trench warfare was rather fluid in the attacks and counterattacks and counter-counterattacks.

I recommend reading this book, it is one of the most fascinating books about a very gruesome, terrible war.

This only shows that publishers are walking towards redundancy. Devs are finally realizing they don't need a middle man and get a lot more profit if they ditch said middle man.

Indies, they are rising more and more.

If blizzard had any brains they'd rehire these guys, remake D3 and give it away as an apology. That's about what it would take at this point....

It's funny because Torchlight is weak where Diablo is strong: production value, polish and some quality of life adjustments. Diablo is weak where Torchlight is strong: map randomization, overdone story, loot tables and drops.

I think TL2 is polished. I mean, I don't find any of the common issues of unpolished games, from bugs to bad UI and bad balance. What do you find about the game that is unpolished? Genuinely curious to find out since I do think the game is decently polished.

Ah well, I stopped buying CoD with CoD4. Damn, this pisses me off.

You really should ask yourself why news about a game in a series you haven't bought in 6 years pisses you off.

Simple, because of the precedent made by this and the effect it will have with other control hungry publishers.
