Anyone try Oil Rush?

P.S. - the trailer for "To the Moon" is really cute/touching.

Prepare tissues if you play To The Moon. It's one of the most emotional/sad games ever made, very, very touching.

As for Oil Rush: http://youtu.be/0H4_7oCxGhs

Now the important question has to be asked with the unbelievable success of this:

How many big dev houses will now shed their middle man/publisher and go at it alone on Kickstarter or other similar sites to pitch their ideas and make the games the way they want?

The door is now open and I personally feel this is the biggest threat to the existence of publishers that publishers have faced. Why would a big dev house be limited in its creativity and suffer a brutal work environment when they can go at it alone, free of any constraints and free to work as they please and where their creativity leads?

The door has now been opened for a revolution within the game industry.

Ah fuck, not Singleton! Fuck! I loved his games and played them to death on my Spectrum. Lords of Midnight, Dark Scepter, Doomdark's Revenge and then Midwinter 1 and 2 and Carrier Command on the Amiga.

He was one of the most amazing game developers that ever existed and it's a truly sad day to see him gone.

RIP Mike. It is night and Rorthron the Wise has found shelter. He sleeps.

And we're now on the final 24hours stretch. The $3.5M goal seems doable, considering it's already at $3.32M.

So, uh, how's this making out? I thought it was single-player with AI but I guess not, it's a totally multi MMO-type. How is it? (Honestly, from the videos I've seen the operative word I think is 'glitchy'...lol)...

Honestly. I much prefer Chivalry Medieval Warfare over this. More skilled, more open (mods, server files) and more fun. WotR ends up being a bit repetitive the longer you play due to lack of game mode variety and maps.
