As I've been telling people about PA, it has the potential to become the greatest Tycoon-type title on the PC. As Sepharo said, it's overflowing with potential, plus the devs are very capable of shaping that potential into a great game.

I advise everyone to get and support PA, it can, and most likely will, become one of the greatest strategy games on the PC of all time.

It'll be hard to top this stinker as the worst launch of the year and one of the most disappointing games of the decade.

Publishers are falling to pieces left and right. People warned them that the path they took was financially unsustainable but they didn't listen. Now they are reaping what they sow and nobody will shed a tear if they all crash, as it seems that's now the path they're heading.

That looks real bad, plus as was mentioned the music is ripped from 28 weeks later.

News Comments > EA Ending Three Social Games
19. Re: EA Ending Three Social Games Apr 15, 2013, 12:35 ASeven

News come that more layoffs hit EA's division in Ireland. Coupled with the recent layoffs, now this, and it's obvious EA is desperately trying to cut costs to achieve financial equilibrium again. However as long as they, and all other publishers, keep adopting the current unethical publishing business model costs will not come down, especially with the tens and sometimes hundreds of millions spent on marketing, on VA, on stuff that in no way improves a game's gameplay.

THQ was the first, Codemasters ceased to be a publisher, Square-Enix is hanging on by a thread, EA now is raising a ton of red flags. Even Beamer is now agreeing with everything I said about the publisher's crash even if he will never admit it. Gentlemen, I believe the publisher crash has started, now let's sit back and enjoy as publishers once again implode, again without anyone to blame but themselves.

Thank goodness the indies have risen.

The dev is truly a prick after all the lies and shit he pulled on terraria.

Shame it's not the same dev then.

Speaking of Elder Scrolls, leaked footage of ESO is now out. Watch it while it lasts.

Personally, looks very underwhelming.

Anyone try this?

It's already pretty fun and has the potential of becoming a major strategy/god game of sorts. For $15 I say get it.

So is the game any good? Is it a standalone expansion or what?

From people playing this, they say it fixes FC3 problems and is a better game than FC3. Standalone game BTW.

Apparently you can download any game stored on Uplay's servers, even unreleased ones, and play the full version if you use the hack.

Holy fucking shit, this is a major, major screw-up by ubisoft.

It isn't only footage that leaked but the whole bloody game is now out and playable for the PC due to a hack that allows anyone to download any game from Uplay.

Apparently, the pirate version of AoE2HD has been fixed of some game-breaking bugs that the original game has.

"Some users of our release approached us with what they believed to be a crack issue. The game would crash on certain setups during the first Age of Kings campaign, upon finding the second relic. This is in fact a game bug that can be reproduced on the original version of the game as well. Because we like this game, we've patched the problem away and present you with this game-related fix. The publisher is allowed to use this fix in their next update provided they remove DRM Wink "
