Blue lately has been attracting a lot of trolls and idiots

It really has gotten weird around here in the last few years...I'm not sure how these people find us, unless it's just folks that were banned, and reregistering.

That's my guess.

Yeah but Slick is... something else entirely, I think.

Verno, will you please stop engaging the troll? How much more evidence does he have to provide that he's a troll? He literally repeats the exact same fucking thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Stop giving him the satisfaction. Save yourself the 5 minutes and do something cool with it, like ogle a hot secretary or something. :)

I'm with Creston here. He reminds me of this.

News Comments > Arma III Alpha Released
47. Re: Arma III Alpha Released Mar 5, 2013, 15:56 ASeven

Been playing it. i72600K, 8GB RAM, GTX580. Runs like butter here on an almost Ultra setting.

Also, I've found myself enjoying this alpha quite a lot. Animations are so much better, the radio banter is infinitely better.

I think third time's the charm for Bohemiah. They've got something special here.

On a related note, the price of ArmaIII will increase as the beta and the final release come out. The alpha is pretty much priced at half the price of the full game when it comes out. I can say that if the prospect of ArmaIII interests you to get it right now. When I got ArmAII at release I didn't find it too fun until a dozen patches later. I'm already finding A3 fun despite being an alpha.

And the graphics, holy fuck these graphics.

Also, the true sequel for SC4 can be found here.

That looks interesting. I'd like to see more about the game, with videos and screenshots of work in progress. They seem more focussed on what EA are doing than their own project.

I guess I must be looking at a different page because I see a single text section out of several, its just explaining the genesis of the project and their ideals for the end result.

I agree though they need to show off more of their work before people will commit funding. They're also coming at a bad time, I think people are waiting for the first wave of game projects to materialize before they start dumping money into others.

Word is that some of the guys behind this project are some of the big modders from the SC4 community. If this is true then I believe this project could turn out well.

Either way it got my interest, that's for sure. The moment they upload a video that shows something running and that proves they have some work on this I'll back it.

Only EA was retarded enough not to see this happen, sales being well below target.

Publishers seem to live in the world of lala land.

I'd bet the farm that a large portion of the people who talk shit about DLC and micro-transactions end up buying it anyway. My friend kept bitching and moaning about how he'll never buy another COD game but still bought the season pass after the fact.

'My purchase won't make a difference' mentality and then all the sudden we're in the nickle and diming era of gaming.

And this.

I don't have a problem with his "Don't like it? Don't buy it" stance... It's his implied "Stop complaining" stance that I take issue with.

This.

He is right about how people should stop buying this shit though. There are people, probably lots, that do buy this kind of shitty microtransactions crap. It's those kind of thoughtless practices from consumers that allow EA to pull this shit on us.

Surgeon Simulator is the most inadvertently hilarious game I've ever played. If anyone want to really have some good hearty laughs, get this game and show the word how awful you would be as a surgeon.

Blizzard to PC gamers: FUCK YOU.

But hey, keep buying their games, guys. Good job.

This so many times.

Blizzard just shat on everyone who bought D3. I hope people now refrain from giving these guys their money.

Funded this one. Has the potential of becoming something quite special but then again I'm a sucker for sandbox-style games like this one and Forsaken Fortress.
