| Play HL2. Then play DNF. Even if they were "remotely comparable," I don't see how any sane person could say DNF was equal, or even close to, HL2 in any manner. Just because some games share the same characteristics does NOT mean they're on equal footing. There are lots of games that prove that point, I don't think they need mentioning. |

| Epic hasn't made a good game since UT2k4. If they can remake AND innovate a modern fast-paced non-realistic arena shooter with mods, THEN I might listen to them. Otherwise it's just PR bullshit. |

Herp a derp? Steam has posted incredibly growths every year, and it shows no sign of stopping. If you're talking about the recent EA fiasco, I think Steam will more than make up for that in other games (especially indie). |

| I've also only played the demo, but it seems like playing defensively (taking cards from theirs, or putting one of yours that they need in a pile they can't take) is/can be just as important as offense. |

Indeed. It seems that lately I've been buying and enjoying indie games a lot more than AAA games. Defense Grid, Frozen Synapse, Sanctum, Terraria, Magicka, etc. Don't get me wrong, some AAAs are still really good (Just Cause 2 is incredible! Just got it on the Steam sale), but there's real competition now on who gets our money. |

| Regarding these PC sales, do any of these statistics take personally built PCs into consideration? I know the number would be very low, but it doesn't seem like they could record such sales since people buy different parts from several places. |

| It's not on sale today, but there might be a Steam encore for it Sunday... Sanctum is awesome! It's my new favorite game. It's like Defense Grid except when the waves start, you get to jump in all FPS style. You get to choose whether to upgrade your towers or your guns. It's just...great. Been having so much fun with it. Multiplayer, too! |
