All you have to do is make a 5 minute youtube Ad for us and have it get big and viral and after you have done enough free advertising then ONE of our artists will decided whether to make your name on a random plauqe.
What is it with prequel material where the technology is bounds ahead of the last game which is supposed to be in the future. |

I'm all for tongue n cheek potty humor but Duke Nukem Forgetful is looking more and more like another run of the mill xbox title aimed at 15yr old boys who get a hard on while trying to interact with balloon breasted females(the modeling is complete ass)to make them feel what?..macho, cool, manly?
Is any of what I just saw supposed to be funny? Cause I didn't laugh.. This is not the Duke I remember, this is shit. How many games have any feature like that??? Seriously what Xbox games do you know that is a competitive shooter where you can interact the way duke does with girls and the rest of the environment.
It's still duke.
It's all about having a fun SP and DM The reviews will tell. (not gamespot or IGN, etc ) |

Jedi Master wrote on Apr 6, 2011, 23:02: So, if you go to see a movie, it's really good, and it ends in 30 mins, that's acceptable to you? As the average movie is 120 minutes long, by your math, you expect all games to be 60 hours long in order to be "acceptable".
Average ticket price is ~$8.00 now, so if a game can deliver over 7.5 hours of entertainment, then it's on par with a movie. So a 15 hour game is equivalent to a 4 hour movie...as far as hours of entertainment per dollar goes.
I'm generally satisfied with a game that's 15-20 hours long. Less if it's really good and/or re-playable. I actually prefer a game with a fairly short core and abanduance of good, but optional side-content. replay value doesn't seem to hold any value with people how put the physical value on their products. |

What I really want to know is...How many levels does it have?
Remeber guys, Doom2 had 32 levels... ah the days when 32 levels of game assets wouldn't be 24 gigs.. |

Superior as in, no arbitrary bodies fading away, decals on bodies don't fade, sound design wasn't shit. thats for a different day.
ID is great for their programming and coding, not their IP's anymore. |

15 hours of a beautiful new engine being tech demoed where bodies go flying gib-less doom 3 style with exaggerated weights and then disappear as a cheesy animated transparent burning away animation covers the model.
In one of the gameplay vid's showing off the "awesome" rc car with explosives, the ragdoll was already "fading away" and or dissappearing before the ragdoll even fully landed and stopped moving on the ground.
Did I mention the decals are fading quicker then Medal of Honors decals from the playstation one version.
So blow up a room full of guys, and before you even leave it looks like nothing happened, no player manipulating their environment and its inhabitants, its all clean again.
bleh. Doom 3 beta was far superior ( not bugwise or optimization- nwise ) to the full Doom 3 Retail game with its feel. |

That sounds exactly like my experience with Dirt 2 when I grabbed it at a d2d sale. Same Experience with... umm every title. |

Jerykk wrote on Mar 31, 2011, 00:43: A mafia RPG would be pretty awesome. The setting and themes are well-suited to morally ambiguous choices and long-term consequences. You've also got factions (different families and gangs) and different approaches (violence, negotiation, stealth) to any given situation. It's a shame that no developer or publisher has figured this out yet.
Anyway, I enjoyed Mafia 2 for what it was. A linear action/adventure game in an open-world setting. I thought the lack of side-missions hurt the game quite a bit but I still found the overall experience to be worthwhile. Mafia Age II? |

The fact that they removed shooting out the car altogether ( which was great in mafia 1 ) is an instant no-buy unless its 4.99 on steam.
No argument against removing that feature, even if you thought it was aesthetically unpleasing in the first one. |
