Here's hoping they don't here. It's clear they spend a massive amount (guessing 20+ million) on video/cutscene. So if the quality of gameplay or stability suffers in anyway, at least we'll know the reason. after watching some of the gameplay feature blogs with the "super hip art director" telling the players that lean really isn't that important. He lost me there.
Still looking forward to this. I really can't imagine how a game lead could play the first game and then mess this one up. If they ruin Deus Ex 3 and it's got awful reviews, I'll donkypunch Square for ruining the FF series and taking a fantastic original IP like Deus Ex 1, and using it to sell this product.
^--- this is all if the game is clearly shit. |

Drayth wrote on Jun 1, 2011, 12:27: The performance issue was if you had ever run the Stereo 3D setup wizard, The Witcher 2 was pinging the wrong part of the driver to see if 3D was enabled which caused a massive slow down in performance. The solution was to disable the Stereo 3D service, or uninstall the Stereo Driver portion of the nvidia drivers.
There's still a bug that causes massive slow down in indoor portions of The Witcher 2 when running stereo.. that fix is coming later this month. Goddamn it, I was hoping they would have that fixed. I have been holding off playing any more witcher till I'm able to play again in 3D. It's nothing short of awesome with my 3D projector, until you play an indoor cut scene and get 8fps.
*fingers crossed when I get home to play some Witcher 2*
Also It would be nice if any 3D on Youtube would actually work with the nvidia 3D. They made some huge announcement that Youtube 3D was supported by 3D vision, then every time I set it to 3D through Nvidia, I would get an error message. |

Let me add that most you you COD haters, hate COD becuase people like me OWN YOUR ASSES when you log onto the server. Reagle, why is it that in every single CoD-related thread, you proclaim how much ass you own? It almost makes you seem insecure about how much ass you actually own. I found the best CS players never talked about it. Just how much they loved the game. |

Don't forget the exit wounds were great in OFP:DR, all masked by a slew of consolitis gone very awry. If only ArmA had some good exit wound models to be placed like decals on dead soldiers that'd be sexy. |

ps. COD gamers must be dumb cos they will buy MW3 game that will use the same engine as the last and get the same multi-player and rave about it like it was something new. It's a demographic that sells sadly.
I always feel like those games have their host_timescale setting set to 1.5 at all times. At least since MW. Game is always playing way too fast.

I actually thought Crysis 1 was better. If it wasn't for the flying sperm shooting icicles, I would have enjoyed the game much more.
Warhead was better than the first game...had to suffer fewer of the sperm enemies.
Warhead was great fun! |

Seems to me like Volitions always making mediocre shooters with some sort of fantastic tech gimmick.
I think the first one's only wooing charm was the destroyable levels. maybe a 6/10 as a whole game though.
Guillermo Del Toro is a a pretty stellar film director though. |

Apparently it ruined everyone's fun but my own. "Stickybomb like a you!"
Did you have to play that on Kali / TEN?

You have plenty of titles to play before it's released to give you plenty time to wait for some actual reviews.
I'm guessing OnLive and its investors dropped a large sum to stir up more registrations to their site.
Yea I don't like it either, I can only imagine... Releasing a demo for Direct2Drive or to Rapidshare users only would literally make me rofl.
