Peter Molyneux and Michael Pachter should form a video game prediction company together. The laughs would be enormous.

lol

I don't grief people unless they grief me, but I never shied from critiquing games and developers -- something many can't seem to distinguish.

So congrats ROS'rs, I hope you enjoy the expansion! : )

You're so vain, I bet you think this post is about you, don't you, don't you!

You are acting like a child throwing a tantrum. I can almost see your hands shaking as you type your idiotic responses. Anyway there's hardly any need to insult you when you are making yourself look like an ass all on your own.

Dig deeper, it's workin for ya! More believable every letter. #21

Dude, I've never made a comment about you until now.

You are seriously delusional and a major douche.

The reason I knew about this is I actually, and unexpectedly, got an invite. It is very Alpha at the moment, and I really haven't played much. Not a fan of MOBA's. I didn't get a key either. I just got an email, and it was in my Bnet queue to download.

You do realize that "legalized crook" is an oxymoron. Only doing illegal things makes one a crook. If society has chosen to legalize what he does then he isn't a crook irregardless of what that may be.

Irregardless isn't a word.

I used to think that too. Let the debate rage on.

Yes, 'Irregardless' is a word.

I've always hated that phrase, 'free with the purchase of'. It should be illegal. So it's free with purchase is it? Ok, I'd like a $1 engagement ring thanks. No? I have to spend $1300 to get this free thing?! Golly, who would have thunk it?

If you are already planning on buying an engagement ring, why not get a free Xbone with it? I feel sorry for you Cutter. You live your life with a half empty glass instead of a half full one.

The epic space battle did not cost gamers a dime! Most of these super corporatiohs have tons of replacement materials. About the only thing they lost was the time to remake some of the big ships.

This is what I call trash journalism. The writer should stick his head in the sand and keep it there.

Since you can buy game time with in-game currency, it is easy to establish a real world value for the items that were lost in the battle. So yes, real money was essentially lost.

Endless Space is the shiznit, but a lot of people don't like the card game battle system.

Thought it was actually cool that Flea admitted what many haven't, over the years...

Guitars and Drums (pre)recorded. Vocals live. Hmmm. Its a shame that it wasnt the other way around. Anthony has got to be one of the shittiest successful frontman vocalists alive. His recorded stuff is pretty good, but man does he suck live. He cant hold a note to save his life...

I've often heard that about him. But then again, what singer can? Other than Maynard Keenan, I haven't heard a singer that sounds as good live as they do on the studio albums. Scott Weiland sounded pretty good.

Bruce Dickinson can sing as well if not better live than in the studio, Y'all. And he can still do it today at the age of 55.

How would this have any chance of being successful? I've never played a bug-free game, and I've sure as shit seen plenty of games knowingly released before they were in an acceptable state. Ship first, patch later is an inevitability with consoles designed to be internet connected.

I think the point that you are missing is it delayed other titles. Shareholders should not be happy about this.

I've been playing this for a few days and find it enjoyable. As someone else said, it will be amazing on a tablet but until then I'll gladly play it on PC.

I am also a casual player who gets stomped by most others online but win the occasional game. Part of the issue is I just use the canned decks rather than building my own. I have yet to try arena mode... perhaps this weekend.

Arena mode is the best part of the game IMO. Everyone is on a level playing field to start. You have access to every card in the game, just hope the right random ones pop up, and you know how to build a winning deck. If you win 7 games, you pretty much paid for your entrance fee. I haven't spent a single penny on this game either.

NASCAR 13 for PC is hopelessly broken, and instead of fixing it, they release the next version, broken as well on PC. They stopped responding to the complaints on the Steam forums and basically told customers to fuck off. Well Deep Silver, you can take your oval racing borefest and shove it up your ass!!!

Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of those stats. 20m in sales overall feels right, as does $1.2 in total revenue, but only 1.5m in sales on the PC doesn't, given that it has been among the top Steam titles consistently for two years on a weekly basis. That would suggest Steam is doing a lot less business than I thought it was.

Unless those 1.5 million PC players are all doing nothing except downloading every single mod ever made from the nexus, there have to be a LOT more people to be affecting the nexus sites so much. Skyrim has basically forced them to invest $300K (and counting) into new hardware because the Skyrim site alone is murdering their entire infrastructure.

Also, for Steam to make 1.5 billion dollars in revenue and for Skyrim to be in the top 10 consistently for nearly two years, means a lot more people likely bought it than 90 million dollars' worth.

All in all, I'm going to say that the linked site pulled those numbers completely out of their ass in a desperate attempt to not have to admit that Skyrim on the PC outsold the console versions by a wide margin.

At the top of the article it states the source.

WOOOHOOO!!! GO SKYRIM!

Can't beat that price. Best item no the sale all year.

The legs on Skyrim has been literally inconceivable (that word...). I would love to see the monthly sales numbers for that game since launch. I am so curious how many millions of copies they have sold.

I'm not sure how accurate this is, but here ya go. According to this they have sold over 20 million units, but only 14% of that has been on PC.
