News Comments > Might & Magic Heroes VI Demo
20. Re: Might & Magic Heroes VI Demo Oct 5, 2011, 19:14 Dirwulf

How did I miss this announcement? Saw the demo on Steam today and I can't stop playing. Now this is what PC demos are about. I'll be buying this game for sure.

And one thing I did notice that people here are going to be pissed about. Some features are locked out if you are not online, like choosing a discipline for your empire.

I am totally for EA destroying that Snake Oil peddler

What trips me out is that almost every single player in the MLB has one of those bullshit things around their necks. I'm sure those companies that make them have made millions off of the players.

These are wristbands.

edit: Oh also these.

I KNOWWWWWW, but they claim to do the same thing...hence why I said around their necks...

I know this is WAY WAY out there. When I worked at Activision, they sued to get the license to Civilization, even though they had nothing to do with the game. And they won, hence you have Civilization: Call to Power. Maybe Bethesda is hoping in some way that can acquire Minecraft...

I'm very tempted to pick it up, but with Rage being available in two days it'll have to wait. And then Skyrim will almost be here...

I thought the same thing about Rage, and almost grabbed it, but then realized Batman is out in 2 weeks. I think I'll get more mileage out of that, so I'll wait. Might get Rage over the holidays...

Speaking of Batman...Green Man Gaming is having a 25% off sale right now. That's on any game as well. Only 13 hours left.

I'm disappointed that Sledgehammer studios doesn't make a game based on the 80s cop show "Sledgehammer!"

+1 for even knowing what that show was. It was full of awesome.

The techie updates are awesome. I don't have to go to 20 web sites because I know most likely it will already be on Blues. I definitely don't come here just for gaming news.

Unrealistic racing games seem to be on the outs. Hot Pursuit and Split/Second and Blur were all met with lukewarm reception, and Hot Pursuit shouldn't have been fucking wasting the Burnout devs' time like it did.

I thought Split/Second was one of the most original and fun arcade racing games to come out in a while. Its a shame it didn't sell well.

Here let me rephrase all the drivel you wrote:

STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE DAMMIT!

Rather fun that the butthurt trolls that don't like the game label anyone who actually enjoys it as a fantard.

Hmmm...that sounds like you talking about anyone who liked Dragon Age II.

I really love pinball. There was a time where you could walk into any 7-11 or liquor store and find a couple machines to play. There was one 7-11 I used to stop into every day during my lunch break to play Pin*Bot. I can't find a pinball machine anywhere except these arcades we have called Nickel Nickel which have all old school games, some you can even play for free, like Paper Boy. I think I know where I'm making a trip to this weekend.

What if diablo 3 was labeled a multiplayer game... with the ability to play solo if you wish... would that make it ok to buy the game?

If the game is fun and you have an internet connection, what's the problem.

The problem is that Blizzard is using that requirement to squash any chance for user made mods, (even in SP) most likely for the sake of more profitable future DLC. That, and requiring being online for the singleplayer game is a ridiculous requirement, regardless of the majority of people's internet connectivity.

That's a pretty hefty statement considering Blizzard has never to my knowledge done DLC in it's entire history of games. Nor have they allowed mods, save for new maps in the *craft games.

You don't consider the mounts and pets you can buy for WoW DLC?
