So, let's get some opinions in here of the 'real world' improvements. I'm curious if anyone sees any kind of speed enhancements with older cards, like my HD5770

I'll be getting a huge real world improvement over my HD5870 soon when I buy a 670GTX. I was a huge Nvidia fanboy since my GeForce2, and the 5870 was the first time I deviated. Despite what an awesome card it is/was, I think I'll be going back to Nvidia.

An aside, whatever happened to hardware roundup reviews? You know, when reviewers would get 10+ pieces of the same hardware from different vendors and pit them against each other to find out which was the best bang for the buck, highest performing, most stable, what have you. They seem to be non-existent these days.

Tom's Hardware always has the latest graphic card info.

The Grateful Dead were pioneers selling their own tickets through Grateful Dead Ticket Sales. The best seats were saved for the true fans.

Miss you Jerry!

So what about the people that already contributed? Are they out the funds or do they get their money back?

I am a Blizzard fan boy. I admit it. Especially considering my past work history.

But this has to be one of the stupidest moves in gaming history! I won't use an acronym, I will spell it out.

WHAT THE FUCK?

I haven't had a single crash and I have been playing a lot. It's not a hard game, but it is one of those "easy to play, hard to master" games. You still need to memorize the tracks and run the correct line, or there is no way to win. The only thing I don't really like is the collision mechanics. Some people clearly don't care about racing properly and just want to run you off the track.

The store mechanics remind me of World of Tanks. It's not pay to win, but it is pay to get to the next level faster. It doesn't matter how good your car is, if you can't race properly, you won't win. And you are racing cars of the same level.

I'm afraid to read the patch notes because they said it contained spoilers, but I was curious as to whether they added any changes to the minimap. It is so large it drives me literally insane, was actually thinking about quiting and only coming back if they resized it or gave us the ability to do this ourselves.

I don't have any problems with the mini-map. Most times I don't even see it as I'm looking at the center of the action. I do use "m" a lot though to see the full map to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Obama has failed as a president. As badly as Bush? Not even close. He ineherited the worst all-around mess of any president in history. He had a mandate to lead and he failed. However there's no winning with the extreme-right because they'll never let the facts stand in the way of what they believe. Obnoxious, ignorant, and LOUD describes them best. Regardless of any of his shortcomings it's not his fault that big-business headed by republicans refuse to create decent paying jobs at home. If he was to force them then the right-wing would be screaming about how this godless commie liberal hates the free-market. He could walk on water and they'd scream about how he's too good to get his feet wet. There's just no winning with them at all.

Personally, I don't think that America will last, or most other major nations for that matter. The divide between left, right, and centrist just seems to be getting more entrenched and divisive all the time. America, Canada, France, etc. are all seeing virtual 50% splits down the middle politically speaking and any form of real bi-partisanship seems all but impossible now. If that's really the case then it's for the best if we split up. Go back to the city-state model or a loose confedation of states/provinces.

Oh crap...I agree with Cutter...

Thats wishful thinking. I hear Obama's job creation plan has opened a new chopstick making factory in Alabama (not joking) so thats viable.

Obama has spent more in 3 and a half years than Bush did in his entire two terms, refused to cut enough so that the US credit rating would be lowered, and consistently puts his socialism loving cronies in the UN above US citizens. Yeah I really can't wait til all his obamites vote him in again so he can finish what he started in turning the US into a 3rd world liberal utopian welfare state. It'll be so awesome!

Keep spreading the lies

Government spending under Obama, including his signature stimulus bill, is rising at a 1.4 percent annualized pace slower than at any time in nearly 60 years.

WaltC, you've been smoking weed or something. The paid authenticator is $6.50 and the mobile app is free. You are reading posts from people talking out their ass and repeating it as fact. Also, no one is hacking Blizzard to get account information. They are getting the information from 3rd party sites or phishing scams.

You wrote a really long post that is 100% pure bullshit.

It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see this game fail. Not that I have any real hope they'll do the right thing and start working on an OT MMO with space combat (you know, like SWG done right) but just to see this dumb WoW clone Old Republic fucker fail is extremely satisfactory. Seems like a slow and painful death, too, which makes it even more fun. Come on. Crumble some more, bitch...

You must have a sick and pathetic life to get off so much on others misery.
