God Bless you, Mr. Wood. Being a father myself, I most certainly understand what you did and why you did it. When you are (or soon to be) a father, you really will go to great lengths to protect your children.

RIP, and my family's condolences go out to The Woods' family.

I can't play these games, I get too tense and freaked out. Call me a wuss I guess.

I agree with you. I can watch horror movies with no issues, but can't do the games. Clive Barker's Undying was one that I tried for 5 minutes and that was it.

Another clueless judge that the higher courts will over turn. Where do they get these idiots?

You obviously didn't read the article. The judge allowed it to go through because of Hawaii's law to prevent items like EULA from user's being able to sue. It wasn't the judge's fault; he's interpreting some iditiotic policitians' law that was put into effect.

I've really enjoyed the Tropico series. Well, the first and third one anyway. Look forward to the new one.

What was wrong with the second one? It was a nice change of pace using Pirates.

If you go by Wikipedia's D3 page, D3 could be released next year. Judging by TL's release cycle, they may not have the third out before D3 if D3 does come next year.

why is it called bioshock again? the concept of a heavy weight character worked in an underwater setting to keep him from floating to the surface. it doesnt quite work when you are trying to stay afloat in a sky city that is supposedly slowly falling to the ground.

Bioshock deals with bio organisms.

ummm. I served in the Navy as an Aviation Electronics Tech in the 90s and I will say they are. Mainly because I grew up in the shadow of my father who was a Marine Corps CH-46 pilot.

Seems that I'm part of the minority. I liked the style of part 1, but overall it wasn't good enough. If part 2 is truely a long lasting multiplayer gem, I might consider buying it. Otherwise I enjoyed Deathspank far more.

Too bad Deathspank isn't available on PC. I think I would have enjoyed it. For now, it's Torchlight and Diablo 2!

I, for one, enjoyed F3 with all of the mods and community involvement into the game.

Care to explain why? Just pointing out a statement like that without reasons, doesn't make it sound that credible.

Interesting, cause I gave you two reasons right there: mods and community involvement.

Crusader ! I never figured anyone else knew that game - those were so awesome.

Oh, I spent a long time the first year of college working on Crusader 1 and 2. I remember how addicting it was back then!

The destruction in Syndicate Wars was awesome. Leveling a building was always a great time.

I got to go back and play those again. That and the Crusader games. Loved those too!

Damnit Creston! You jinxed the game!!!!!

Yeah, and it's actually alot of fun and been reviewed positively by a lot of reviewers. So instead of knocking it, why not try it for yourself instead of bashing it right away?

I'm surprised to hear this news. I thought CM would crawl back under a the FPS rock from which they came. OF:Dragon Rising had great sound and performance but like was said here already, failed in so many other ways. (the AI seemed OK)

And yes, the UI was terrible and had console port written all over it. For example, when playing multiplayer games: since there were no dedicated servers (arg!!) at the end of each game you would be thrown back to the main menu and had to go through listing servers and connecting again just to continue playing.

Perhaps the biggest fail of OF:DR was that the pirated version could play multiplayer. Sounds fine until you realize that is a wide open door to hackers, cheaters and griefers.

Oh and yes, all the hype from codemasters about DR (for years!) was pumping the game up as being the best FPS ever. FAIL.

I rather enjoyed the coop mode online. Some of the best fun I had in awhile and the AI was tough in a lot of those missions.

Yeah, I don't know why you had "game breaking bugs," as even the vanilla versions worked fine for me. But as Dev said, the mods enhanced the gameplay and fixed issues that other people had.
