Yup, it's not going to be turn-based. In addition, you won't need to have line of sight in order to see enemies. It's starting to sound more like Commandos than Jagged Alliance, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you enjoy Commandos. However, those who prefer turn-based tactical strategy will no doubt be disappointed.

OK, this incarnation is definitely going to suck now. Why can't we have turnbased?????

This gives GameStop employees exclusive early access to the playable demo Dragon Age II

Honestly, I'm guessing this will probably be a torrent by the weekend. Maybe even by the end of the day.

+1.....I was thinking the exact same thing when I was reading this. lol

phew! I'm glad Hollywood got to use the Rango name for the new Johnny Depp movie. Ringo might have thought people would go to see him if they used his name instead!

It will be interesting to see who the publisher for Sins Of A Solar Empire II will be. Did Stardock nail Ironclad down before all the poop hit the fan? Will Stardock be able to sign any new developers now they have shown twice in a row that they are apparently incompetent at project management and quality assurance?

I don't see how this has anything to do with publishing games. The fault here was with development, not publishing. They had two series wins with Galactic Civilizations and SoaSE, not to mention the desktop apps. I'm sure they will be fine down the road.

3171184 people have registered and 1000552 people bought the game

That is straight piracy right there, only 1/3 of everyone playing the game has paid you, they stole approx $50,000,000 USD ($25 x 2 million) from your pockets. Registered Users are pirates, don't think otherwise, that is straight fact right there. You don't even need evidence. They're stealing shit.

You need always on DRM to solve this problem. Use always on DRM and you instantly make $50,000,000 cause all those people will pay you.

Dude, have you even played the game? You need to log in to play and registered could be logging into the site. That means for the demo. This doesn't necessarily mean piracy.

I remember when people praised Stardock when Sins of A Solar Empire came out, I was one of those people. Back to Elemental, I don't think they are being greedy, they made a critical failure on initial release. I've heard they fixed a lot of issues.

There's a difference though, Stardock didn't develop SoaSE, Ironclad games did. Stardock developed and published Elemental.

M.U.D. TV (by the same developer) was not great, so we'll see.

See the evening preview from yesterday on it. The reviewer made a lot of comparisons to DK with some added innovation remarks. I'm hoping for the best

Well there's always X3:Terran Conflict if you want to get your space sim on.

I'm guessing these guys just want to make an RTS, however ho hum it may turn out.

I prefer Evochron Mercenary: http://www.starwraith.com/evochronmercenary/index.htm

The series has been out awhile now and kind of reminds me of Elite.

Same. It's a pity too, I liked SH3 and it looked like a good game.

Nah, like SH4, SH5 was buggy. I'd wait anyway. The community is fixing the game.

Couldn't get into Mount and Blade. I wouldn't say the game had much of a learning curve, but more of a patience curve. And it was steep.

BTW, does anyone find it comical how the other day ARMA II + OpArrow were $12 on Amazon, and today OpArrow by itself is... $20 on Steam?

It changes everywhere. Some games were lower on Steam than they were on other sites. I stay away from Amazon. I saw that OpArrow was on there for 10 bucks a few days ago, but the customer reviews mentioned issues with key activations. I'm willing to pay a little extra (got OpArrow on Steam yesterday for $15.99 as I already own Arma II on there) to stick with a reputable service where I know the game will work and if not, it will be fixed quickly.

Convince Rockstar to port Red Dead Redemption and all is forgiven. Gamers have short memories despite their claims otherwise

Now THATs the kind of thing i'd like to see - I don't see the point in MS maintaining exclusivity between 360 <-> PC. Obviously they're different markets.

You guys realize that you are asking for another console port, right?
You realise it would probably be a shitty port like GTAIV, right?

Hey, a shitty port is better than no game at all. Frankly, now that my 4 year old XBox fried and I can't play RDR at all, I'd prefer to play that shitty port.
