All these complaints about the UI and such are based on PC controls, which right or wrong are not the way to play this.

That's an absurd way to look at the situation.

If playing with PC controls isn't the right way to play it, then they shouldn't have the audacity to try and sell it to me as a PC game.

That's a really limited view some people have that I have never understood. Controllers have been part of PC gaming since the beginning and there have always been PC games that worked better with a controller, from Tomb Raider to Assassin's Creed.

I play PC games for a hell of a lot more reasons than just mouse and keyboard.

Still, we didn't play Diablo with a controller. Games like this just seem more natural with a mouse.

Now that's a great consolation. Hey maybe it's not even as bad as cancer huh?

Cancer has the possibility of being curable whereas a bad game is forever a bad game.

Well, add community mods to it and you've kinda turned it into a cancer-surviving miracle, just dormant!

They only got DK1 didn't they? http://www.gog.com/en/news/new_release_dungeon_keeper

Yeah, but they acquired the EA catalog, so I'm sure DK2 will come eventually. I know they already have titles lined up like Alpha Centauri.

DK2? I *have* that. Don't you mean DK3?

There never was a DK3.

I don't think any Star Trek adventure game could be as good as Star Trek: The Next Generation: A Final Unity.

If you own Borderlands, it shows up under the DLC. I'm guessing it gets installed automatically. Will have to try it tonight since I'd rather not re-download 10 gigs of data at work.

No, you need to get the CD Key on the right side of the page for the First Access Club, go to the FAC page on the DN website, enter it, and then you'll get your key. You then need to activate it on Steam and you'll see the game in your library.

I'm really optimistic for this one. I just hope they develop it like a game rather than just incrementing the tech demos.

You need to follow the blogs and watch the gameplay on the main site. It is actually really good as a game now and they keep updating to the community that they are adding more on to it.

They wouldn't DARE take on WW2, why? Company of Heroes. You cannot fucking top that WW2 RTS, ever. Only Relic could possibly beat themselves in a remake.

Nah, two different types of gameplay there. I bet a Total War: WW2 European and Pacific campaign would be awesome.

Upcoming? It's already out!!!!

No it is not out until June in North America.

Well, if it's not out, then why are there a bunch of reviews already? Is it out in Europe?

Awesome narrative, shity game.......

Sorry Techie, but anything coming from you about this game in general we have to take with a grain of salt and doubt you on. Youíre too much of an ARMA fan to listen too. And the game isnít that bad at all, screw the AI commanding around. The AI you use do suck ass, but playing the game Coop with friends is where this game really shines.

Agreed. I like both Arma and OPFP games. ArmA is overall better, but I have had a blast playing with my cousin (who is serving in Afghanistan now) through some coop in Dragon Rising. Can't wait when he gets back to do some coop in Red River.

Can't wait for this! Other recent 4x strategy games were a disappointment.

I couldn't get into the first one after having played SoaSE. I'm going to have to try again as I know they are completely different games (SoaSE being a real-time game and SotS being a hybrid). But SoaSE is one that I always come back to.

I wonder if Blizzard will allow modding? I know they are blocking B.Net access in SC2 with people even using trainers JUST for SP access. This probably won't bode well for the modding communiuty. I mean, Meridian XL is just a GREAT mod for D2 LoD.

I really wish they would make a strategy remake to the original Alien that I used to play on the Commodore 64. Now, that was one scary game and one I was never able to beat.
