My issue with F2P games is when they have XP boosters as Marvel Heroes does. It makes every minute you're grinding without having a boost up feel like wasted time.
I've played it a bit, and it's not very exciting. Minimal skill trees, very basic combat. Nice graphics, though. |

I think this article is spot on.
Cliffy might say, "Hey, don't buy it", but articles like this are the response to publishers why this approach alienates gamers.
The more pissed off I get at a game company, the less likely I am going to buy their games. Already in the last year, I've written off both Blizzard and Bioware, two companies that I never thought would go onto the "Only buy it if it has gotten really good, consistent reviews for at least a month after release" list. |

Yeah. Once you figure out there aren't any alien patrols that are going to flank you suddenly, the game becomes very very easy. But very very slow. |
